Throwback Thursday, Dessert Bites

I know that many people like to eat lighter in January

after a month of December celebrations, parties and gatherings

BUT you don’t have to give up desserts,

it’s all about the size!

These recipes will satisfy your sweet tooth

without leaving you feeling guilty!

Peanut Butter Mousse Minis taste like a combination

of ice cream and cheesecake and only about 75 calories each

Keep a batch in your freezer and grab one whenever you want

Cannoli Dip is made with made with low fat ricotta

and whipped cream cheese

Serve it with low cal dippers such as strawberries,

apple slices or small cookies

You’ll feel like you had a slice of cheesecake

But with a lot less fat and calories!

Petite Cheesecake Boules are small balls of cheesecake

that are combined with a variety of ingredients

There’s no guilt involved with eating just one little boule,

and there is something about an elegant presentation

that leaves you satisfied with less~

Two Bite Cherry Pies take only 5 minutes to prep

Have one or two and feel good about not having

a big slice of pie ala mode!

All you need are 3 simple ingredients to make a

Caramel Mascarpone Martini

Mascarpone cheese, caramel sauce and toffee bits

Lemon Shooters mini dessert parfaits are just the right size

to make your sweet tooth happy

without feeling too guilty

Key Lime Pie Minis are light and refreshing with a no bake filling

Strawberry Cookie Cups are a strawberry version of Key Lime Minis

Like I said, it’s all about the size~

I hope you enjoy these dessert bites!

  1. I love mini desserts..easier for portion control and much cuter!

  2. These would be a great idea for Cork Poppers, now that we don’t do sit-down dinners but apps and desserts, mostly finger foods! Thanks, Jenna. Saving several!

Well, I’m all about the Key Lime Pie Minis. And what a wonderful, wise idea to help us have a bite of something delicious, minus the guilt. When I was a little girl and we visited the bakery in town I so loved the mini Petit fours–I’m sure it was because one was so manageable for little fingers. Thanks, Jenna, from our grateful waistlines! Georgia Gal
