Special Occasion Blooming Wine Glass
It’s time for the April Creative Craft Blog Hop!
Our hostesses are Sara @ Birdz of a Feather
and Donna @ Modern on Monticello
Thank you Sara & Donna!
Welcome friends, readers, and visitors from Blue Sky at Home
where Carol shares a great decoration for the Kentucky Derby
Today I’m sharing a flower wine glass that is perfect for
Mother’s Day, a Birthday Girl, a hostess, a bride,
or for any special occasion
All you need is a stemmed glass, faux flowers and glue
I had a bunch of faux blooms in my craft stash that I took apart
I separated the petal layers
I cut petals from the separated flower layers
For the first layer on the glass,
I used a layer that had the petals still together
with a hole in the center for the stem
I had to cut one petal off so I could put this layer around the stem
With the glass turn upside down, I hot glued it on
Then I glued the cut petal on
and added another layer of individual petals
underneath the first layer
Turn the glass right side up
and tuck in a third layer of petals with a dot of glue
Now turn the glass upside down again and glue on leaves
For the final touch I glued a small tight bloom and another leaf
to the base of the wine glass
I thought about painting small dots on it,
and tried it with my photo editor~
so what do you think, dots or no dots?
Who wouldn’t feel special sipping from this blooming wine glass!
Next up on the hop is the very clever and talented

The glass is so festive. I like the dots.
Thank you Bernadette!
That’s absolutely lovely! The painting is great too, Jenna.
Thank you so much Angie 🌸
Love your creativity and such a fun wine glass Jenna! Wouldn’t they make a festive addition for a Mother’s Day table or birthday party? P.S. I like the addition of the polka dots 🙂 ♥
Thanks Mary 🌸
It’s pretty but the dots really tie in the pretty pink! I would go for it and add the dots! This would be a great gift for Mother’s Day; you could give flowers that last!
Thanks so much Sara, dots are going on!
This is so pretty and festive! How wonderful to preset Mom with a glass of something special!
Thank you Dorothy 🌸
So pretty and the dots are the perfect touch. I think your wine glasses are perfect for drinking or adding a tealight!
A tea light is a great idea, thank you!!
Jenna, the blooming wine glass is so pretty and feminine! Of course, your signature dots are perfect. This is such a fun craft idea and would be fabulous for a Mother’s Day table or a girl’s graduation party. Your creativity is amazing!

Your blooming wine glass is so creative and adorable, Jenna! I always love seeing your unique and wonderful creations! I do love how the dots seems to take the wine glass to a whole new level! They seem to make the glass sparkle!
Thank you so much Gail! I agree, the dots are a good finishing touch 🌸
Jenna, this is so beautiful and would be perfect for so many spring occasions. Also, your floral painting is absolutely gorgeous! I love anything with pretty blooms. Happy Tuesday, sweet friend!
Thanks so much Shannon 🌸
Jenna I love your wine glass…what a creative idea to use petals like that. I would love to take a sip from it and snack on pretty cupcakes. Beautiful my friend.

Thank you Jenna for your faithfulness. I have been pretty AWOL lately. Bonnie
Thank you Bonnie! It’s nice to hear from you! Life gets busy…
Jena this is the cutest! I’ve painted, added glitter, mod Podged wine glass but this may be my favorite way to zhuz up a glass. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Tammy, have fun!
I can really imagine these as wedding or Valentine’s glasses. They’re so unique and pretty.
Rachel – Tea and Forget-me-nots
Thanks so much Rachel!
This beautiful project looks easy enough that I think even I could do it. So clever to turn the glass upside down to work on it.
Thanks Judee, it’s an easy and fun craft!
Your wine glass creation is lovely with or without the dots. I think my preference is without–more ephemeral!
Thank you Linda! 🌸
So cute for a mom or bride! Or maybe I need to plan a garden party and copy this idea 🙂
It’s Deb Cantales
Thanks so much Deb, they would be cute for a garden party!
So pretty! I like it both ways, with dots and without. 🌸
Thank you Jill, a fun craft!
Love the dots, beautiful painting and the glass is so sweet you clever gal!!
Thank you Patti! 🌸
I like it both ways, and just made one for a “spa” gift basket I am putting together for a Jack and Jill party. I put dots only on the bottom of the glass, and will include a mini bottle of Prosecco Rosé.
