Tablescapes, Summer Strawberries & Palms
This week my family and I have been relaxing at the beach

The weather has been as perfect as a ripe summer peach!

We are being spoiled with delicious meals prepared by my son

I set a red, white and blue table with palms just for fun

The centerpiece is a pitcher full of strawberries
It is surrounded by palms because they are so light and airy

There are palms on the glasses and on the placemats too

I think they look so pretty with all the red, white, and blue

A wooden fish keeps the napkins from blowing away

In case the wind comes up on this beautiful day!

Pretend you don’t notice the towels in this space

This week the pool has been a quite popular place!
We are enjoying these last weeks of summer fun

School starts August 8th,
but it feels like summer has just begun!
Thanks so much for your visit!
I will be joining these fabulous parties and blogs:

I love the poolside tablescape, Jenna.
It’s been a strange summer in my region. Extremely hot and dry. It’s hard to believe school will be starting back in just a couple weeks. Enjoy your family time.
Thank you Rita 🙂 We’ve been getting a lot of pop up thunder storms, I will try to send some your way!
So very beautiful, Jenna. I love those square platters.
Thank you Angie 🙂
Good morning, Jenna. I love your poolside tablesetting with a strawberry centerpiece. I know your family enjoys being together. I can’t believe it is almost time for school to start. The mid air jump of your guys is so cute! Happy Sunday!!
Thanks so much Pam, have a great week!
Pretty table, and those fish are such a cute addition to keep the napkins from blowing away. Looks like you are having mild temperatures. It has been too hot here by our usual standards, and lots of rain! But we are in a mild drought, so we’ll take it.
Thank you Carole, it’s been hot here too but we are getting lots of pop up thunder showers~ stay cool!
Still lots of summer left here in NY! We don’t start school till after Labor Day so half the summer is still ahead of us.
Looks like your family had fun!
Thanks Kathleen, I wish our school year started after Labor Day, Aug. 8 is just too soon!
It does seem like it was a short summer. We don’t have students right now, but we have 3 teachers in our family.
Thank you for stopping by Nancy, I hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer so far~
Good morning, Jenna! Your red and blue table is so striking! Everything looks absolutely beautiful! The palm leaves make such a lovely accompaniment with their light and airy appearance. Strawberries are the perfect summertime centerpiece! It looks like you are having a wonderful time. I can’t believe school is almost ready to start. I agree with you…summer is just getting started. Wishing you a most blessed and happy week ahead, sweet friend!
Thanks so much Shannon! Have a great week!
August 8 is crazy early for the start of school, and the teacher probably start a week before that. I’m so happy to be retired. Your tablescape is whimsical, patriotic, and beautiful. I especially like your wooden fish idea!
Thanks so much Linda, yes, much too early! I’m glad you don’t have to worry about that now!
This is a lovely table!
Thanks so much Dorothy!
Such a fun summer table Jenna by the pool! Love the blue square plates paired with the patterned placemats and palms. I can’t believe school starts back so early in August, it’s way too hot for sports /practices. Hope you’re still enjoying some beach time. 🌴 🏖️💙
Thank you Mary. We had to come back to reality Sunday, but we had a lovely week 💕
What a lovely table setting. Perfect for a summer break at the beach! And the towels just add to the overall vacation ambiance.
Thanks so much Michelle! I’m so used to towels hanging everywhere I didn’t even notice them until I was editing the photos 😂
Jenna your poetry is wonderful as you explain away your post. Strawberries always sound like summer to me even though they are around pretty much full time everywhere. I have to agree the summer has flown by…is that our age speaking? I think so…as my mom used to say that and while I was very young, I thought the days drug by, especially leading up to Christmas which will be here before we know it. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much Kari! I think you’re right about the age thing, but I do think Aug. 8 is much too early for school to start!
Wish I were there!
Me too, back in the “city” now…
How much fun, Jenna! I love the idea of the wooden fish securing your napkins from the sea breezes. I cant believe that school is right around the corner! I’m happy y’all had one last hurrah from the beach. I love your centerpiece: It is so pretty!
Thanks so much RJ, we had a wonderful week, but it seems like school is starting much too soon!
This is such a cute tablescape Jenna, and I love the red, white, and blue theme – it just says summer to me! And strawberries, yes please. Love the fish as napkin weights – what a clever idea. I’d forgotten how early the kids go back to school – ours don’t start for another month. It must still be really hot there?? Anyway, it looks like everyone enjoyed the time at the beach and I hope you all had a great summer!
Thank you Kim! We did have a great summer, but it seems much too short! I wish our schools started after Labor Day, but at least they do get out early before Memorial Day 🙂
I’m so behind visiting — forgive me. (I did drop in but on the fly and it was hard to comment from the phone.) I’m so glad you’re at the beach. A happy place and all look happy there. Your table is just fabulous. My colors!
No worries Jeanie, thank you for stopping by!
Such a delightful and colorful table, Jenna! A table to linger at and enjoy the ocean view and the antics at the pool. It’s nice that we are no longer constrained by the school calendar and can enjoy the summer as long as the weather decides.
Thank you so much Sandra! So nice to hear from you!
I love everything about this table! The color combination is unexpected, but it works! How vibrant and inviting it is. I also love those wooden fish keeping the napkins in place. You are SO clever!
Thanks so much Pattie 🙂
I am so excited to share and feature your awesome post on Full Plate Thursday, 706! Thanks so much for sharing with us and please come back soon!
