BBQ Pork Magic

To avoid dealing with question, “what’s for dinner?

Think Boston Butt!

Not only is it delicious right off the grill,

there are many ways to enjoy it…

HHjr, a grillmaster, cooks a large pork butt almost every week

BBQ Pork Butt is a favorite because it’s so easy to throw on the grill

and let it cook low and slow all day

You can also cook it ahead of time,

pull it and then keep it warm in a slow cooker

We always cook a big one

so there are plenty of leftovers for another meal–

Sure, you can make a pulled pork sandwich,

but why not change it up with a BBQ Pork Tostada

This torta is like a layer cake,

pulled pork, corn, onions, cheese and BBQ sauce

are layered on tortillas and stacked, then baked

or make Pulled Pork Potato skins,

you can serve them as an appetizer or a main meal

BBQ Supper Eggrolls will give your pork an Asian twist

Eggroll wrappers are filled with pork, BBQ sauce and a slaw salad mix

You can fry them or bake them

You can even make Pulled Pork & Corn Enchiladas

Instead of BBQ sauce,

the tortillas are spread with enchilada sauce

and filled with pork, corn and onions,

rolled up and covered with more enchilada sauce and cheese

How about a crowd pleaser, Nachos!

Turn last nights pork dinner into tomorrow’s

BBQ Pork & Corn Nachos

This demonstrates the concept of “Cook once, eat twice,”

but in this case “Its cook once and eat many times!”

Delightful ideas! I love pork and BBQ. Your ideas are, I suppose, what they call fusion cuisine? I call them delicious!

Jenna, what wonderful ideas for pork…they all look delish! I have a large pork butt in my freezer and you have inspired me to get to grillin’ …I don’t suppose you could loan out HHjr for the week-end ???? Have a great and wonderful week and keep inspiring us.

So many different recipes from one pork butt Jenna, and they all look delicious. I have never bought or made a pork butt but you have inspired me to try this out. Thanks for all the inspiration and wonderful recipes and I hope you are having a wonderful week!

    • omg Kim, you’ve got to make a pork butt {ask your butcher to make sure you get the right cut} If you don’t want to grill it, you can cook it in a slow cooker. You can also buy prepared pulled pork, look for Jack Daniels Pulled Pork at the grocery store, it should be near the hams in the refrigerated meat section.

  9. Thanks Jenna, BBQ bliss in every bite!!!

  10. Yumm. This looks amazing! So many different recipes to make with pulled pork. Looks like I need a pork roast. Happy summer.
