Are you familiar with the musical South Pacific?
It’s a long time favorite of mine, and I love the tiki bar scenes~
Such a fun theme for a gathering!

On the Alabama Gulf Coast you can rent a floating tiki bar
for a party on the water~
But you can have a tiki bar party anywhere!
All you need is a few colorful decorations…
You can set up a “bar” at home, outside or inside
It can be on a counter or a serving cart

Even on a tray!

Pineapples and bright flowers bring an instant tropical feel
I like flamingos too, their pink colors and whimsical bodies

“Bloody Mary” is a fun character in the South Pacific play
and one of the scenes features her Bali Hai Bar
Serve fancy Bloody Marys in her honor!
This BLT BBQ Bloody Mary is garnished with a mini bacon,
lettuce & tomato sandwich skewer

You can even paint your own Bloody Mary Glasses

Be sure to offer another drink choice
like refreshing Creamsicle Mimosas
Of course, you’ll want some nibbles…

This Bloody Mary Bread Pudding is a great choice for brunch or lunch
Make a tropical fruit platter
by surrounding the top of a pineapple with cut up fruit
Coconut Pineapple Créme Brûlée is a light impressive dessert
Party Time!
I will be joining these fabulous parties and blogs:
Sundays on Silverado/ Happiness is Homemade
Between Naps on the Porch / Turn About Tuesday
Wednesday Linky Party / Karin’s Cottage Linky Party/ Creatively Crafty
Full Plate Thursday /Thursday Favorite Things
