Fall Centerpieces and Vignettes
As we flip our calendars to September,
it’s time to add some Fall decor to our home

A September Pumpkin stacked with flowers
can be a centerpiece or a decoration

Fill a glass vase or cylinder with real or faux baby pumpkins
and add stems of leaves, pine cones, dried flowers
OR
Make a row of glass vases down a table center
or arrange them in 2s or 3s on shelves or your mantel
You can fill the vases with acorns, pinecones, and leaves
The arrangement below at a Festive Fall Table
includes Bird of Paradise flowers for pops of orange,
along with big, bright sunflowers
and green thistles with orange buds

Add twinkle lights for evening magic

Instead of flowers, choose wheat stalks
{I did tuck a few faux sunflowers in the rim}
The different textures of these faux pumpkins
are a great pairing with the wheat
filled with candles, pumpkins, pine cones and leaves
would look so pretty on a coffee table
Or a kitchen table, or anywhere!

Use flat top pumpkins to elevate dishes on a buffet

A log topped with moss, leaves and mini lights
would look beautiful on a mantle
or as a long and low centerpiece on a dining table
Using mini lights eliminates fire danger from lit candles

A lantern is a wonderful way to safely enjoy a lit candle
Style it with pumpkins, moss and leaves
Gather thin twigs and branches into a tight bundle,
and tie them with a ribbon
Wrap the bundle a string of tiny warm white fairy lights
Enjoy Autumn in Bloom with a pumpkin tureen full of flowers

Happy Decorating!

Thanks Jenna! I’m looking forward to decorating for fall.
Have fun!
Here comes the color!
The fancy-shmancy-fallish log just speaks to me. It’s all lovely!
Thanks Leslie Anne, I really like the log too~
I love all of them, Jemma but particularly the moss covered log. I have used a log before and I need to get it out again and use it for autumn! Thank you for the fall inspiration!
Have fun Pam!
Oh Jenna, so many lovely ideas for decorating for fall or using as a tablescape centerpiece. I see several I’ll try to recreate come September! I’ll be referencing this post often. Hope you enjoy the weekend…
Thanks so much Emily, have fun decorating!
I love all of your ideas, but my favorite is to include pine cones in the groupings. The fairy lights are a close second.
Thank you Linda, the fairy lights always create magic!
So many great fall ideas Jenna! I’m always inspired by your beautiful art and decor. 🌼🧡🍁
Thanks so much Patty Anne!
Oh, my these are just the right amount of harvest charm and autumnal magic!
I always look forward to when the seasons change and its time for a new look!
Jenna, I am SO ready to turn the calendar page to September! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration, our cooler temps this coming week are really going to whet my appetite for all things fall. 🍂🍁 Happy Sunday 🧡
haha, I think just about everyone is! I hope the cooler temps do arrive, and it won’t be long until pumpkins!
Loving your sweet leaves and Fall ideas…I haven’t even finished decorating for summer, hence the void of posts. It was so hot here all summer, not even a bit fun until now. Hoping to enjoy the porch a bit, and the produce the garden is giving us. Must admit there a lots of squash and mini pumpkins out there…maybe that will put me in a fall mood! Hugs, Sandi
Oh, squash and pumpkins, you’re all set! Thanks Sandi, have fun~
Ohmygosh – I am loving all these wonderfully creative fall decor ideas! I’m not sure I can choose a favorite because they are all so pretty, but the September pumpkins and moss-topped log are especially appealing. Love the paintings of the fall leaves and the flower-filled pumpkin too. So many ideas here. Hope you are having a wonderful end of the summer (and I’m thinking that all the pumpkins and gourds should be in the stores soon).
Thanks so much Kim! I always get excited when the seasons change and it’s time to redecorate! I am crazy about pumpkins, both real and faux! We usually start seeing pumpkins for sale the second week of September. Happy Decorating!
