the Organized Life, the March Paint Bucket
Posted by the Painted Apron on March 1, 2013 · 8 Comments

Boy, February FLEW by! I am surprised I got so many things made from my bucket list in February but it filled its purpose, giving me meal ideas when I had no time to think! The monthly bucket list is my way of organizing my cooking thoughts and managing recipes that I want to try. It is not a TO DO list, it is an inspiration board, a take off point to jump start menu planning.
Here’s what I made from the February Bucket list
BLACK CHERRY SMOOCH, a Seasonal Sipper
SURPRISE PACKAGE, aka Fried Pickle Wontons
PAN FRIED ARTICHOKE HEARTS turned into SAUTEED ARTICHOKE HEARTS WITH FRESH PARMESAN
APPLE CHERRY & PECAN SALAD turned into FRUIT & ALMOND TOPPED SALAD WITH MUSTARD AND MAPLE DRESSING
CHICKEN SPAGHETTI turned into ROTEL CHICKEN WITH VEGETABLES
STEAK HOUSE BLEU CHEESE SAUCE, on the list as Steak house steak with Bleu cheese sauce
SOPHISTICATED WHITE LASAGNA aka Lasagna with Chicken, Spinach and Artichoke
BLONDIES WITH VALENTINE M&MS, I didn’t post about these I just used my recipe for HEAVEN IN A COOKIE BAR and used M&Ms instead of nuts and chocolate chips
ICE CREAM CAKE PARFAITS aka Valentine Dessert Parfaits
There is a tie for the favorite recipe this month between SOPHISTICATED WHITE LASAGNA, and ROTEL CHICKEN WITH VEGETABLES. They were both outstanding!
Here’s what’s on the March Paint Bucket

I’m looking forward to your March ideas, Jenna. Here’s a slow cooker recipe I recently tried that was amazing! http://www.rachaelrayshow.com/food/recipes/french-onion-roast/
I used the “Better Than Bouillon” for the stock, and served the meal with toasted French bread for dipping into those delicious juices.
Thanks Sally, that looks like a delicious recipe, I love to use onion soup mix, makes everything yummy! Busy month ahead!!
Boy are you organized! I’m so impressed with your plans for March. I definitely want to try the baked tacos and white lasagna. Going to pin right now!
Thanks for visiting Ann, we have made the baked tacos twice since then, and love them. I’m sure you love the white lasagna too…
