Recipe Box, “Firefly,” a summer cocktail in a jar

Have you ever heard of the drink called an “Arnold Palmer?” It is 1/2 lemonade and 1/2 ice tea. And in the south that ice tea is “sweet tea.” Yes, the southerners like their tea sweet.
You can use any kind of lemonade you like, for a home made version see Lemonade Dreams or click here. I often buy the Sparkling Ice lemonade {zero calories} or Hubert’s Original Lemonade pictured above.
As for the tea, well after the sun goes down that sweet tea, just might turn into Sweet Tea Vodka!
My favorite brand is “Firefly,” of course, but there are other brands out there. This is seriously delicious stuff~
It’s fun to serve this drink in a Ball jar
You know, just like the jars you used to use to catch fireflies in when you were a kid
mmmmm, it’s so different and refreshing!
Here’s the recipe:

FIREFLY COCKTAIL
Ingredients
- Lemonade
- Sweet Tea Vodka
- lots of ice
Instructions
- The proportions are up to you~we do about 1/2 and 1/2, just like the Arnold Palmer and pour it over lots of ice
Enjoy! And thanks for stoppin by y’all…
