Tablescapes, Moroccan Fantasy

Our anniversary is next week and we will be celebrating with 2 other couples at the beach. That will be tons of fun, but I wanted to create a little romance…
I decided to whisk HH off to Morocco for a romantic dinner for 2~
It all started with this innocent gold charger
glass beads and small tiles
a shell edged rattan mat
a turquoise and gold plate stack
a pretty linen napkin dressed with a beaded turquoise ring { which is actually an earring, shhhhh….}
a turquoise and gold pashmina draped on the table
loaded with candlesticks and flowers
and some silk pineapple pillows
to add to the luxury fantasy
the chairs are dressed with flowing cloths
and beaded cord tassel ties secured with T pins
plump pillows for pampering and comfort
turquoise and gold candlesticks and vase~surprise Christmas gifts from HH over the past several years,
and a romantic table for two is ready for a special evening~
Casablanca is in Morocco you know….

Hi, your table setting is stunning and beautiful. I love it.
Julie
Thanks so much Julie!
Jenna, this is beautiful. My sister-in-law and I are trying to come up with two different tablescapes for pier parties. I must start gathering and playing with it as soon as I can get there. I love this one. Where do you find all the great stuff that you don’t create yourself?? I like to shop at the beach but miss all the wonderful sources for dishes at the outlets there. You are such an inspiration and I mean it!!, Maureen

T-pins and cording is genius. I wonder how I can recreate this on my wooden chairs… Lovely.
Love that table setting. What an inspiration! Now, if only I had a real dining table, with your permission, I’d borrow the parts of this look that I could afford. 🙂
You are too creative! Love the bling on the chargers and your runners and tassels attached with t-pins! A table fit for a Moroccan feast~ I can only imagine what’s on the menu! Hope you have a delicious celebration at the beach! Happy Anniversary wishes to you~ ours is next month 🙂

Happy Anniversary! What a fun table filled with special details. Your chargers may just start a trend. Very clever idea! Of course I’m swooning over the parchment vase and candle holders. I’m a long time fan of McK-C, but don’t have any of the parchment pieces. That may need to change! ‘-)
Thank you Sarah, you have some enviable Mck-C pieces yourself and lots of other quite stunning pieces that I am always drooling over 🙂 Thanks for the anniversary wishes~and you will see some more charger ideas in the future!
Oooh, ooh ooh!! Love what you did to those chairs!! Wonderful table! All those extra details such as the bling on the charges makes this one extra special!! Fabulous!
Wow, You know how to jazz it up. Love the bling! Very romantic and pretty.

This is fantastic – I want to rush out and make some of those gorgeous chargers, right now! Love your color selections – that blue is just the prettiest shade. I visited Morocco a few years ago and you are making crave some of that delicious mint tea that I had there. It is the only tea that I have ever really liked and I am a southern girl – lol!! Great job on this table!
All those wonderful colors….Love your table!
Beautiful table! I love the colors! I love the idea of customizing chargers and have done quite a few myself!
