Tablescapes, Snow White & the Poison Apple

I’m joining the Apple Table challenge over at Cuisine Kathleen this week.
Since we are all getting in the swing of Fall I couldn’t resist adding in a little Halloween fun…
I have these plates
and HH eats apples every day
{the health benefits are astonishing, you can read more about it here}
and somehow they ended up together one day….and I got an idea~
Remember Snow White, the poisoned apple, and the 7 dwarfs? Well, these are her Halloween Dwarfs…I mean little people, or whatever is politically correct!
Witchy, Boney, Batty, Spooky, Warty, Frankie, and Chicken Little. They are on patrol protecting Snow White from the Wicked Queen who is jealous of her beauty…
They put out some black netting to try to trip up the Queen and her evil plans…
They have loaded the table with tricks and traps~
They are going to try to prevent the Wicked Queen from giving Snow White THE poisoned apple!
They have all kinds of things to tempt Snow White’s taste bud’s so she doesn’t eat the fated apple!
Apple Cider and Apple Pie Fries are sure to catch her eye~
Maybe she’ll fill up on these things
and will stay away from THE apple~
Oh and the Caramel Apple Pecan Pie Cake looks good too!
She is sure to try a bite!
With goodies galore
and sweet treats all about, Snow White is sure to be safe from the Wicked Queen and her poison apple!
The Wicked Queen doesn’t stand a chance!
You can also tempt your own tastebuds with Chicken Apple and Spinach Manicotti

Very unique ideas & I LOVE the spin on the poison apple bit…too funny!
Jenna, Your table is so creative! I can see that you were having a great deal of fun with this one! Your little dwarves are so cute. I had so many trolls when I was a kid and I always have a soft spot for them when I see them. It’s so nice of you to do so much work to save Snow White. I’m sure she will love all your goodies! Linda
Jenna, you obviously had fun with this one. Love your creative touches here, and the food is making me hungry. Caramel apple pecan pie – oh, my!
What a neat twist on combining apples and Halloween. Haven’t seen the little troll dolls, they are two cute. Love everything about the table. Think I will pass on the apple treat <;)
Cathy
Jenna – you win the challenge hands down for creativity! How cute is this?? Love the theme and the way you brought in Halloween. The food looks so good that you guests will be treated to a fantastic setting, but a delicious meal, too. Wow – this is great!
You are just full of yourself with this table, Jenna. As cute as it is, my favorite part is the manicotti which just happens to be one of my favorites.
Too cute and those little elfs are making me laugh Love it!
Hi Jenna – You never disappoint! Hands down the most creative I’ve seen yet. The first thing I thought of when Kathleen posted her challenge was the Snow White witch… and then my mind went blank (LOL). I’m so glad you were able to pull together the most fun and appletastic tablescape! Hugs, Holly
Wow how cute is this! I love it and would enjoy sitting there. What a cute idea using the poisin apple theme! The trollls are making me snicker- I had trolls as a kid when they came out. Should have kept them! We even had one dressed as santa!
Such a creative and attractive table! I was taken with the troll dolls, as they were BIG when I was a child. I wonder if my mom still has mine? Your family and/or guests will love this one!
Your table is just so sweet, love all the apples, love all the little details…loved it all…Phyllis
What a fun twist on the apple table challenge! So cute!
This is such a darling table! I had to come here first to visit. Everything is so whimsical and all the fun little details – besides the fabulous food! I am in love. Maybe I am a wicked witch since I am so drawn to all of this! Yummy for the eye and for the tummy! And may every bite be an unpoisoned one!
I love the whimsy of your table. Fun!
I love your table and all those adorable elements you’ve used to stage it, specially that ceramic pie, swoon! I like that picture too. Thanks for dropping by. Big hugs,
FABBY
Jenna, what a unique and great take on the apple challenge! Such a creative table, and so much fun! If I were Snow White, I would certainly eat all of that delicious food before I even picked up an apple. I think the “little people” (too funny) have done their job well. Love the plates with the big green stripes, as well as the animal print underneath them. Really fun post. Have a great weekend. laurie
You have the best ideas for tables! Your apple painting is beautiful, and I adore those trolls!!! Fun, fun! 🙂
