Recipe Box, Summer Desserts

Here is a recipe round-up of our favorite desserts from last summer~

Fresh Peach Cake is glazed with choppped fresh peaches in a luscious sweet sauce

Strawberry Margarita Dessert Tacos are a little labor intensive, but oh so worth it! A show stopper to be sure!

Ice Cream Party Bites can be made ahead and stashed in your freezer until serving time.  You can get creative in your ice cream and cookie combos.  I made these small, about 3 bites~You would be surprised at how many non-dessert eaters will go for a bite sized dessert!

Chocolate Cashew Bars is a go to favorite of mine.  You can make these so quickly and they stay fresh for up to a week.  We had these last night for dessert after our family reunion kick off party~ I made them early in the week, kept them refrigerated, and cut them the day of the party.  Always a big hit~

Sand Dollar Dessert is made with individual lemony mouse topped with a sugar cookie sand dollar and a chocolate shell

Peach & Nectarine Crostada  goes together in minutes with a refrigerated pie crust dough round, sliced fruit and a little sugar.  Not bad with a scoop of ice cream either!

Blueberry Peach Pie with Granola topping is full of fresh peaches and blueberries with an oatmeal cookie like crumb topping
