Gifts from the Kitchen, Pantry Gifts and fast wraps

Do you keep a stash of gifts on hand for emergencies and unexpected events?
I try too, but often I turn to my pantry when I totally screw up and forget in times of need
Here’s what I found this day~ a gourmet dry dip mix, Starbucks instant iced coffee mix, and a new bottle of balsamic glaze~
Not too exciting for a Southern BBQ kinda guy…who I needed a gift for now
But, on second look I found some things more his style…I knew he’d love some BBQ sauce and a homemade BBQ rub
A sturdy piece of card stock and some sharpies is all that was needed to make a tag for the homemade BBQ rub which we named after a local waterway
HHjr made the rub, and he said it was a highly guarded secret recipe…interpret that to mean he has no idea what or how much he put in it…
You can always buy a rub and put it into another jar~ click here to see more about these party favors
fast and easy wrap with a dish towel and a mini bucket
You can easily make the labels on a computer, PicMonkey is great for stuff like this
A simply tied, cute ribbon wrapped around a redneck margarita local delicacy, is all you need
for an instant, grab and go gift
Check your larder for a new bottle of liqueur, wine or sparkling water and give it a quick wrap with burlap ribbon and jute
The shell “necklace” is actually a napkin ring that a friend of mine gave me on a bottle of wine, and I thought it was such a great bottle dress up idea! Thanks Maureen!
You can grab some ribbon, sparkly garland, even balloons to make a fast a festive bottle wrap
or a length of burlap fabric~ click here for more photos and info about these Burlap Wine Wraps
Oh, and I have a gift for you today! I made a new page of all my favorite gifts from the kitchen for fast and easy reference. You can access this page by clicking on Gifts from the Kitchen in the header at the top of every post to get ideas when you need an inspiration…
I hope I’ve gotten your wheels spinning~

Hi Jenna! I LOVE all of these ideas…so very clever! Hey I am going over to your new item on the header to see if you have a recipe for the Ala-Bama-Rita….that sounds like what I need today!
hey Kitty, thanks so much! Unfortunately I didn’t make the Ala-bama-rita, I found it in a local store in the wine section~I wish I had thought of that!!
