Take-out Tuesday, White Chocolate Butterscotch Cake Bars

Fast & fabulous is what these treats are, and they are the best of both the cookie and cake worlds-
Moist, sweet and delicious, 5 Minute prep, 30 minutes in the oven and you have a batch of cookies that will stay fresh for up to a week 😋
Start with a cake mix, Super Moist Butter Pecan is one of my favorites
Mix it with 1 egg, 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup milk, 1 stick of butter, vanilla extract, butterscotch and white chocolate chips
Spread batter out in a greased 9″ x 13″ baking dish
Bake for 25-30 minutes
Top with additional chips and return to oven for a minute or 2 to melt into cake top
Let cool completely…this is the hard part!
You will want to dig in for a taste…
Cut into squares or bars
Store covered at room temperature or refrigerate

Here are some other butter pecan favorites
Beach Bum Butter Rum Cupcakes aren’t just for summer, eliminate the umbrella and top them with a pecan half or candy pumpkin
Brown Sugar Pecan Bread Pudding Muffins are good for breakfast or dessert
Butter Pecan Mini Cupcakes with Maple Buttercream can be spooky with purple icing but are easily changed into a seasonal treat with different cupcake papers and toppings
Have a sweet day!

Yummmm!
Love anything butterscotch! I bet these went fast!
Jenna, I am a big fan of butterscotch…actually I am a fan of anything sweet! These would be so good with my coffee right now, do you deliver?
Jenna, My hubby and my mom both love butter pecan and butterscotch so this would be such an easy way to make them both very happy! Linda
What a delicious bar and combo with the cake mix, butterscotch and white chocolate chips Jenna! No one needs to worry about them staying fresh for a week, they won’t last that long 🙂
Oh my this looks amazing Jenna!….This recipe with the Butter Pecan cake mix reminds me of a dear, dear lifelong friend who had lost her battle with a kidney disease a few years ago. We were at a restaurant when she was visiting me. The dessert’s main ingredient was a Butter Pecan cake mix. When she returned home, that cake mix was no where to be found….I sent her 6 boxes of that mix and continued to do so through the years. So this brought back fond memories! Have a great week Jenna.
What a great friend you are Shirley! Did you get the recipe from the restaurant? I just remembered I used the mix for the Candy Wreath Cake on my side bar too…😋
