November began with getting a head start on the holidays with painted Holiday tree jars
And making a Pumpkin Turkey
Here are some more ideas of things you should be doing in November-
You don’t want that Halloween candy hanging around for months, so treat yourself to a Halloween candy dessert
Caramel Candy Wreath Cake is elegant enough for company, but you won’t really want to share 😋
5 minute Trick or Treat Bars is a simple version of seven layer bars
Halloween Candy Cheesecake Dip, is perfect for tailgates and party noshing
Now’s the time to check your table supplies for the big day and make sure you have what you need
If you can’t set your table ahead of time, at least do the centerpiece
A bountiful runner with real and faux vegetables pumpkins and flowers is fun to create, and anything goes
Look for cute paper goods to make the children’s table fun and festive
Fill a cornucopia with popcorn for their table and set out mini cupcake papers full of candy corn, Reese’s Pieces or fall colored M&Ms and label them turkey toes
It’s time to finalize that menu too…
This year, we are gathering elsewhere so I get to basically relax and enjoy, but I do miss the menu planning and the cooking chaos

Once you decide your menu, try making a turkey apron with your kiddos
The turkey is a hand print embellished with some finger dots and adding a beak and a wattle with a brush
and finally, make sure you have some Thanksgiving vignettes to enjoy around your home

Jenna, I’m already feeling overwhelmed with Thanksgiving just two short weeks away!! Thanks for the links and inspiration! I want to sit at the kid’s table this year and munch on a cornucopia of popcorn and candy 🙂
I have a feeling that your fabulous brussels sprouts table runner/centerpiece will make a modified version on one of our tables this season! It’s a fabulous idea and it looks terrific. We have no idea how/where/with whom we are spending TG this year but whether it is with a gang or the two of us, it’ll be pretty!

Wow, what a load of Thanksgiving inspiration! I feel like a hamster on her wheel lately, so no thoughts of Thanksgiving menus yet. Just the norm, I guess. I should get busy, though, because we’ll have everyone here this year. Thanks for getting me off my wheel and thinking in the right direction. Your menus and recipes look delicious!
