Tablescapes, Spring at the Farm

Welcome to the Springtime Tablescape Blog Hop!

A big Thank You to Celebrate & Decorate’s Chloe

for getting this talented group of tablescapers together

I know bunnies are hopping all over the place right now, but I decided to do a different spring themed table

Welcome to Spring at the Farm!

With the arrival of Spring the chickens and pigs are happily roaming around in the hay

They are enjoying a beautiful sunshine filled day

These chickens have polka dots and nails for their feet

They are constantly pecking about for something to eat

The peppermint pink pigs are filling their snouts

This pig loves radishes, peas and Brussels sprouts

A mini cutting board and iron flatware are found at each place

Colorful dish towels will keep messy food off your face

Bright vegetables and flowers celebrate Spring

And all the joys that this season will bring

I’m crazy for polka dots and all black and white

Oh goodness those ears, what a delight!

What could be better than a bowl of fresh fruit?

Apples on candlesticks look really cute!

Daffodils bring Spring right to the table

I couldn’t resist these crazy characters, I just wasn’t able!

You can find them at MacKenzie-Childs here and here

Thank you for visiting my Spring at the Farm!

You will want to take a peek at all the tables this week!

Now that’s a farm fresh frenzy of fun! I love how you throw your artistic spin on ANYthing, Jenna, whether it’s a canvas, food or, in this case, a great table. How fun would it be to have kids (or kids at heart) at a table like this. I can hear the clucking and oinking now as food is passed around…..
Your ‘hay’ is perfect, and all those animals, both in the plates and decor, full of whimsy.

  4. Joyce Olson says:

I can see how you couldn’t resist those MacKenzie-Childs characters 🙂 Your newly painted dining room with the black below the chair rail looks so fresh and modern. I bet your paint brush is quivering in anticipation of creating a wonderful canvas for your dining room wall! Thanks for the barnyard fun this morning, it’s always a pleasure blog hopping with you.♥

Oh My!! I am so crushing on that polka dot rooster!!! Of course the mix of checks and polka dots is always fun, so your spring table brings such a cheerful spirit. No doubt all those animals are happy as a pig in mud that it is spring just as much as we are!

  13. What a cute theme (and poem!) What I really loved are the little bread boards at each place setting – great idea, rather than a bread place! Love your MC animals, too! I am a sucker for polka dots! Well done!

  25. I love this. The straw and those small cutting boards (or cheese boards?) just make it! And you;d never think that in the beginning but the texture they’re bringing makes me adore it! The polka dot adds that fun element that your tables are famous for. Boy, when you do Spring, you do SPRING!
