The Organized Life, Tiered Art Tray

.
Lately I’ve been obsessed with all the fun themed tiered trays popping up all over Pinterest and blogs…
.

.
I have a small galvanized 2 tier tray that I recently used for an indoor garden table centerpiece, but it is so small, you can only put a few things in it
.

.
I have a large tiered basket tray at the beach house that I often use on the kitchen island for not only displaying decor, but also for jars of snacks
.

.
Oh Amazon, why do you make shopping so easy???
.

.
I fell in love with this tray, it’s weathered wood with galvanized trim
Hmmm…I knew that just buying it to have fun styling it would be silly, I needed a good reason to put it into use…
.

.
This is an art tray, I keep at my finger tips in the family room so I am always ready to draw or use a small watercolor set
.

.
I had more supplies than tray space,
Ah ha! I do need a tiered tray!
.

.
It is so large, I have plenty of space for all my supplies, and even enough room on the top tray for a seasonal touch
.

.
I have tons more room and it looks so much better!
.

.
The other tray was moved in front of the lamp and it corrals a container of brushes, TV remote, etc.
.

.
The tray is sitting on a lazy susan, which is not visible, and it can easily be spun to grab what I want
.

.
I have several of these organizers
they are great for holding pens and markers
I also use drinking glasses or jars for my markers and paint pens, and group them by colors
.

The floral tin and white box behind it hold half pans of watercolors
.

.
All I need is a glass of water or a water brush
and I can paint right here using a small desktop easel
.

.
Bonus!
if I want to create in another location or put it away when entertaining {hopefully again soon!} I can easily {well not easily because it’s heavy 😂} move it

Even if you don’t have a tiered tray,
trays are so much fun to use for decor, like this Fall Serving tray
and this Aqua Beach tray from the Pumpkin Farm

Good morning, Jenna! Trays are so much fun to decorate with and great for organizing items. Your new tiered tray is perfect for organizing your art supplies. It also looks great on the side table, and I love the added seasonal touch! Happy Wednesday!
Thanks so much Shannon! 🌻
Jenna, I love seeing how tiered trays are decorated. I am so glad you found a reason to order this fabulous one 😂 Seriously it makes the perfect place to store your art supplies. Happy Wednesday!
Thanks Pam, I am really enjoying it!
Oh i love trays of all sizes, colors and etc. Love your new tiered tray. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Thank you Cindy 😘
Good Morning Jenna! This came out perfectly! It keeps everything at your fingertips and is also well organized with a touch of elegance. Bravo my friend!
Thank you Nancy, I smile every time I see it!
Me too!
What a lovely way to organize!
Thanks Dorothy, it’s great to have all my drawing supplies in one convenient spot!
Jenna, I think you’ve made a wonderful use of the three tiered tray.It sure keeps your art supplies organized and looks pretty. You have an assortment of pretty tiered stands and trays, love the small one used for your centerpiece on the table. You really put them to good use at the beach house, a wonderful way to serve snacks and buffet set-up. Oh yes to Amazon, especially during quarantine…..
Thanks so much Emily, yes I swear you can get anything on Amazon and it has been a life saver during quarantine…I wish they didn’t make it so easy to click and buy 😂
I love trays but haven’t found the right tiered one. I’m gong to check this one out. I looks like it could work. I love your idea of putting your supplies there so they are both at hand and look good. Lovely ideas all. (And thanks for the reminder on the lazy Susan. My wooden one is hanging out hidden behind a table I don’t dare move for fear of avalanche and I’d really like to dig it out!)
ha, good luck with the dig out! The tray I got is big, and I couldn’t believe how much room I have for everything I wanted on it! Of course I want to use it for seasonal decorating too, but it is perfect for my art stuff! Thanks Jeanie!
Your new tiered tray of art supplies looks sharp!
Thanks Rita, I love having my favorite things organized and looking stylish!
Love love all the ideas of how to use the tiered tray! Thanks again for linking up to Centerpiece Wednesday!
thanks Karin!
Proof that organizers don’t have to be sterile and office-like!
ha ha, thank you Linda!
What a great organizer your new tiered tray makes Jenna! Perfect for your art supplies 🙂
Thanks Mary, it is a great addition and I’m so happy to have everything I use for drawing and watercolors all in one handy spot…of course I’m dying to decorate with it too 😂
Your new wooden tiered tray is very nice Jenna! Looks like it will come in handy too-enjoy:@)
Thanks, I am really enjoying it!
Jenna, I love how you have the art supplies in the tiered tray! I’m in the process of a complete re-organization in my art/craft area, so i will check out this tray! Thanks for sharing it with us at TFT!
Thank you Pam, I can’t tell you how much I love this tray, it looks nice and my favorite things are so organized! It is pretty big, but that just means more area. Good luck with your reorganization, I hope you post about it!
Hmmm, one more pipe to hook up and I can get back into my doll room and work spaces. I have a small metal turn tray—but it just is so tippy. I could definitely use something substantial, which I think I will make…great idea here and I think I will try! Sandi from AAhome
I love this! It will be featured in tomorrow’s Creative Compulsions.
