Tablescapes, Pumpkins, Polka Dots and Pointy Shoes!

Welcome to the annual Halloween Tablescape Blog Hop

hosted by Chloe from Celebrate & Decorate!

If you’re coming from At Home With Jemma  Welcome!

Our regular Take-out Tuesday will be back next week,

but today is all about happy and cute Halloween fun!

We have sat at this foyer table almost every Halloween night,

anxiously anticipating trick or treaters

Sadly this year there won’t be trick or treaters ringing the door bell,

so I decided to decorate this table

with my own little witches, goblins and ghosts!

What part of Halloween to you like the most?

Is it the pumpkins, the decorations or perhaps the candy?

If it’s cute and not gory or scary, I think it’s all dandy!

I must admit that for this table I got carried away

So many Halloween pretties wanted to come out and play!

There is something about stripped legs and pointy witch shoes

Pair them with polka dots and they just have to amuse!

Pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and variety

And witch hats in honor of the Black Hat Society

Ceramic Pumpkin tureens hold a delicious potion

And nearby ghosts are trying to cause a commotion!

And when dinner is over and the day is all done,

the crate of pumpkins remains to remember all the Halloween fun!

Please continue to ride your broom to all the Halloween tables below!

Jenna, As you know I’m a proud card carrying Black Hat Society Member so I love your pointyshoes paired with polka dots and Halloween vignette!
“Your crate of pumpkins is too fun
and I’m partial to your fanciful ones.”
That’s the most rhyming I can do 🙂
So sad there won’t be trick or treaters this year but you have some wonderful stand ins at your table! Happy hopping and Tuesday to you ♥

I’d be happy to park my broom alongside this table, Jenna! I’m in for all the candy – how else do you think a witch gets her toothless grin??! You have so many adorable items on your table, and knowing you’ve crafted so many of them makes them even more a delight. I was trying to pick out which (witch) ones I thought you’d made….wasn’t sure about the apron….but adorable, ALL. Believe it or not, our city/state will be allowing Trick or Treating…..but we won’t have to worry about sharing our candy loot in the loft. Witchy, I know, but hey, if the pointy shoe fits, wear it! 😉

    • haha, that is so cute Rita, I never thought about how the witches got their toothless grins!! The apron is actually a table runner that I folded, from Pier 1 I think {so sad they are going out of business!} I’m happy for the kids in your area who can trick or treat!

  3. Julie says:

You decorated the perfect table for a Halloween celebration Jenna. I love everything you made and it looks so festive. I like to have a few pieces of chocolate for Halloween and looking at the cute costumes the kids wear.

Jenna, you are the queen of wit! I bet your english teachers loved you! Delightful poem. So witty.
You are also the queen of painting and crafts. It is sad there won’t be treat or treaters this year but you can have a party for your grands.
Thanks for the smiles this morning.

  7. What a wonderful idea this is! Everything I’m seeing today is telling me to go to Amazon and spend money I don’t need to, so this is a wonderful break and I’ll delight in checking out these beautiful tables capes!

  8. Rosie M. says:

Jenna, I love your Halloween Table! So much to “oooh” and “ahhh” over! You’re sure to be the Queen of Halloween this year!

I love your table and can see you and the grands sitting there waiting on cute little trick or treaters. We have the same fun here and it will be missed this year. I love how you set the table with fun decorations. Like you, I like the cute and pretty, nothing really scary. I see those adorable candleholders I fell in love with and of course I think all the pumpkins are my favorites.

  12. I’m all about cute instead of scary when it comes to Halloween. I love your pumpkin pillow as it can be used from early fall, Halloween and then until Thanksgiving. I’ve shared it on one of my Pinterest boards.

  13. Darling post Jenna. The crate of pumpkins is so fun. Love the fancy ones. So much whimsy and colors. The tall candle holders are so adorable. I bet your grands love being with you on Halloween. The pillow is so cute. Cuteness overload and so many wonderful tutorials. Always a pleasure to join you.

    • Thank you so much Linda! I don’t know what the grands will be doing for Halloween this year, fingers crossed they will be able to dress up and do something, they love it so much!

  14. Jenna, I love that you have so much fun decorating a Halloween table. Your rhyme is just perfect. Your table is so festive with the cute crate and your own witches, goblins, and ghosts. My favorite part of Halloween is the treats. I can never have too much candy! I so enjoy your creativity!

  15. Jemma says:

    Hello Dear Jenna,
I love that your Halloween darlings had to come out and play! How could they resist…
Such cuteness at every angle. I do love a happy Halloween:) Very clever prose too, you have me smiling! You are so, so creative! Just look at all of these darling tutorials too.
    Great to hop with you!
    Happy Halloween,
    Jemma

Jenna you’ve conjured up a spellbinding Halloween display — so fun and festive! Wish I could park my broomstick at your front door and visit for a nice long spell.

  17. Ricki Treleaven says:

I love your entry table, Jenna. I see your cute candlesticks you painted! AND I really like the little white crate. That is so cute! 😀 That would be cute for Christmas with ornaments in it.

I love your table very much! It’s perfect! And those witches legs… too cute!
And crate of pumpkins …made my day!
    Happy Tuesday dear friend!

  20. Marsha says:

Jenna, every girl needs a pair of pointy shoes! Combine that with polka dots and it is a classic! I love your painted tapered candle holders and patterned pumpkins. One can say it may be easy to get carried away, but I say it is never enough. So much fun and whimsy…just more to enjoy and bring a playful smile. Happy Halloween

  21. So fun and festive! I love the painted bin on the table and all your witches. What great fun, Jenna. It’s a pity no little goblins will be there to enjoy it.

  22. Laura Coyne says:

Hello! I just wanted to say: What an amazing explosion of colorful, whimsical fun! I love all your handpainted items! Particularly the pumpkins! So adorable! What a visual treat, a departure from all the neutrals and white. There may be a lot on the table, but it is so happy! Thank you!

  23. Chloe Crabtree says:

Jenna, What a fun table! I love how it is overflowing with fun little details! I especially love all of the hand painted elements you have displayed that share your artistic talents! Those candle holders are the cutest! Thanks for hopping with us again!

  24. Sarah Anderson says:

Jenna, you always delight with you your fun tables and rhyming text. I’ve pulled very little out this season, keeping it simple! Traditionally I’d be hosting a dinner party for girlfriends, but that’s not happening this year. I have been setting fall tables out on the terrace and in the dining room. Tables for two! Happy Halloween!

    • Thank you Sarah!! I hate that you can’t have your girlfriends dinner, that sounds so fun. I used to meet friends out for dinner or lunch 2-3 times a week, and miss doing that so much, I haven’t even been to a restaurant since March. I love dining Alfresco, I’m so glad you and your husband can enjoy the terrace!

  25. Kitty says:

Of course, I always love your rhyming words, Jenna, which add such fun to your post. Your table is whimsical and full of friendly Halloween cheer! I don’t know if we are having trick or treat or not. Enjoy your fun foyer table!

  26. So much cute Halloween decor! Looks so fun on your table!

  27. Sandra Garth says:

I love all parts of Halloween and all parts of this lively table! It would be impossible to pick one or two items here that are my faves. I’m bummed also that we can’t give out candy but we’ll still have fun with the grands. Happy Halloween and have a great holiday!

  28. How festive! So cheerful. Thanks for linking up with me!
