The Organized Life, October Paint Bucket

The monthly paint bucket is my bucket list
of recipes I want to try
Choosing recipes for the list is my way of menu planning,
A quick glance at the list and I can quickly decide
what’s going to be on the table
This month I’m thinking about comfort food
and foods associated with Fall
Acorn Squash, Butternut Squash, Pumpkin…
The theme of the month is Fall Flavor
Appetizers
Slow Cook Peach & Pumpkin Spice Meatballs from Happier Than a Pig in Mud
Maple Caramel Bacon Crack from the Domestic Rebel

Here’s what I made from the September Paint Bucket
The theme of the month was Finger Food
We kicked off the month with a Labor Day Hot Dog Bar,
such a great way to feed a crowd, and it was all finger food!
Besides hot dogs, pickles and chips,
we enjoyed this show stopping Stuffed Bread Bowl Dip

Pumpkin Crescent Pinwheels from Kudos Kitchen
was the inspiration for
Parmesan Pumpkin & Bacon Spirals
Great Game Day food!
Apple, Pear and Walnut Galette is a favorite from the archives
It’s not exactly finger food, but 1 slice can be a meal
Chicken Pot Pie Biscuits from Tastemade
inspired Chicken & Asparagus Timbales
Autumn Celebration Pizza was not on my bucket list,
but it just sort of popped into my head and I couldn’t wait to make it

Another delicious month!

October is looking delicious in your kitchen Jenna. Can’t wait fo enjoy some of these fall favorites. Hard to believe it’s the last day in September!
I can’t believe it’s October Emily, but I do love Fall food!
A fabulous selection of recipes to choose from Jen. Thanks.
Thank you Bernadette, even though I know I can’t possibly make all these recipes, it’s fun to think about them and choose what I’m in the mood for…
So many recipes, so little time!!!
Isn’t that the truth!
So many delicious and tempting treats! Blue cheese galette is my favourite though.
I know, I wish I had time to make them all!
Oh my word Jenna! My mouth is watering and it’s only 7 in the morning!! Can’t wait to try some of these as soon as possible! Thanks for doing my meal planning for me! 🙂
Thank you Barbara, I love Fall food!
Jenna, you are making me hungry this morning! It all looks delicious! I look forward to seeing what you cook up in October.
Thank you Shannon, I’m looking forward to making some of these, I wish I had time to make them all!
I think some of your best were last month! They all look fabulous!
Thanks so much Jeanie!
All of the October choices look good, but my eye went right to the desserts!
haha, eat dessert first, right?!?!
Last month’s finger foods were great! I love fall flavors. Peach and pumpkin pie spice meatballs sound fabulous as does all the desserts. Actually everything sounds yummy. Happy Thursday, Jenna 🧡🍂🎃
Thanks so much Pam, I wish I had time to make them all!
Pumpkin Alfredo sounds good to me! I hope you enjoy the meatballs Jenna, we sure did:@)
Can’t wait to try them!
I think I just want to hang out in your kitchen! I could be your No.1 taster!

Hi, Jenna! I’m organizing a cul-de-sac chili cookoff for early November before we all hibernate for the winter. I’m digging the idea of the hotdog bar to go with that! That would make it more kid friendly and expand our food choices. Thanks for that inspiration!
You are so adventurous with your food! I wish I could do more than dip my toe in the water!!! I barely do that! Each New Year I make a resolution to be braver about trying different foods, and each year I resolutely BREAK that resolution! I’ve got to try harder! The apple/pear/walnut galette looks and sounds great because I LOVE all of those foods. Maybe I’ll start with that.
Happy Hump Day!
How fun to have a neighborhood chili cookoff! Yes, a hot dog bar would be perfect to go with it! The galette is delicious and easy to make, and even better if you want to add ham, bacon, sausage or prosciutto! Enjoy~
I always love the delicious recipes that you post on your Paint Bucket, just awesome! Thanks for sharing with us at Full Plate Thursday, 556!
Miz Helen

Can I trouble you to modify the link to go to https://www.spoonabilities.com/cheesecake-bars/ without the question make and all the codes after it?
Thanks!!!
