Want a super easy and super delicious meal
that you can prep in 5 minutes?
Do you want to fill your house with a wonderful aroma?
How about something you can serve your family
or share with friends watching football?

These 4 ingredient Hawaiian Chicken Sliders
will soon become one of your go to favorites!

Boneless chicken, crushed pineapple and BBQ sauce,
a combo sent from heaven!

I had buttermilk marinated boneless chicken tenders in my freezer
which I defrosted and cut into chunks
Into the slow cooker they went,
seasoned with salt and pepper
and topped with well drained pineapple tidbits

Next, it was topped with BBQ sauce

That’s it, now all you have to do is turn it on!
3-4 hours on high and dinner is ready

We had this on lightly toasted slider rolls,
The King’s Hawaiian brand rolls are so soft
they literally absorb the flavorful chicken and pineapple
The soft rolls full of sweet and savory chicken make for delightful bites!

All you need is a nice green salad or tasty slaw on the side

Slow Cooker Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 can 20 oz, crushed pineapple
- 1 bottle 18 oz., BBQ Sauce
- 8 large boneless chicken tenders or 4 boneless breasts or thighs
- 12 Hawaiian rolls or slider rolls
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Cut chicken into 1 inch chunks
- Drain pineapple in a colander, pressing with the back of a spoon to force out excess moisture
- Put chicken into a sprayed slow cooker, season with salt and pepper and top with drained pineapple
- Pour BBQ sauce over all. Cover and cook on high heat for 3-4 hours
- Serve with toasted buns. Makes about 12 sliders
Enjoy!

So quick and easy and perfect for football snacking Jenna! Those King’s Hawaiian Rolls are irresistible too. ♥
The rolls are dangerously good aren’t they!
Super easy and delicious idea. Do you put the chicken breast in the freezer with the buttermilk?
I had marinated them to use in another recipe and realized I had more than I needed, so I drained the milk off and wrapped them to freeze for a future recipe. So when I thawed them out to make this recipe they had already soaked in buttermilk overnight. But the buttermilk soak is optional, I just try to do it when I have time. Thanks Bernadette~
Looks delicious and I think slaw would be the perfect side.
Thanks Linda 🙂
Time to break out the slow cooker!
My slow cooker stays on the counter from now until Spring!
Quick and easy and perfect for a football Saturday! I love the King’s Hawaiian rolls a little too much😉 Happy Tuesday, Jenna!

Woo!! I love these. Those little rolls are so good and almost sweet.
Thanks Leslie Anne, those rolls are so good with the saucy chicken, they just soak it up!
Pineapple and chicken are such a classic and yummy combo. Serving it between the soft tender bun instead of rice is a genius idea, Jenna.
Thank you Angie, the rolls were so good full of the saucy chicken!
Another one of your delicious and easy meals! Thank you Jenna! Enjoy this last Tuesday in October!
Yep, couldn’t be easier!
I so agree with Dorothy-“time to break out the slow cooker.” I have an Instant Pot, but the idea of the slow cooker wafting the BBQ sauce smell through the house sounds wonderful! This dish could lead to addiction.
It’s truly such an easy meal, thanks Georgia Gal!
These look so good! Those Hawaiian rolls are my downfall. Have a wonderful week, Jenna.
The Hawaiian rolls are hard to resist!
Making my mouth water and tummy growl! YUM!!! It’s meatloaf here today at Conner’s pond but I might just need to make some of these yummy sliders. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Thanks Cindy, it’s a wonderful recipe when you need an easy meal!

Jenna, I don’t know what I would do without your yummy recipes! I know my family is going to love this one. It’s perfect for college football Saturday. Wishing you a most happy week ahead!
Thanks so much Shannon, it’s super easy and perfect for football watching!
Pinned this one too Jenna. Sound delish! Made the acorn squash, breakfast sausage and stuffing dish tonight for supper and it was so very good. I was so hungry that I had a good heaping cup of the stuffing mixture while the stuffed acorn squash was doing the last 30 minutes in the oven, hehe. Boy, that was tasty too. Thank you for these great recipes!
I’m so glad you liked the squash Cyndi and I much appreciate your feedback. This slider recipe couldn’t be easier, and it does make very tasty little sliders!
YES please! These sound perfect for a great, easy and flavorful meal. You always provide tasty recipes, Jenna!
