Winter Tablescapes & Vignettes

Here we are starting the second week of January
with the holidays in the rear view mirror…
I spent the week after Christmas at the beach house with my family
I was still loving our tree decorated with turquoise and red
so I tweaked it by removing Santa stuff
and adding heart ornaments to hint at Valentine’s Day
I like to slowly ease out of Christmas and into winter…
I got out a few snowmen and snowflake plates
and combined them with starfish for a coastal feel
Ironically after a week of 70-80 degree weather and swimming

we went home to 1/2 inch of snow!

We rarely get snow in central Alabama,
but I enjoy snowy decorations and tablescapes in the winter
This Snowy Winter Wreath is on the front door

I swapped out my Christmas china for Snowman plates
and Snowman glasses

I love my Ice Skating Snowmen
perfect for January decor

Citrus fruit is at it’s peak in January
and it’s a wonderful way to brighten up gray winter days

I filled my tiered tray with pinecones, snowmen and snowy trees
as part of my Winter Wonderland

The bottles on the bar are cozy in their winter ware

It’s snowy in the dining room too
with snowflakes hanging from the chandy

The table is serene at night with white lights and evergreens

Do you decorate for winter?
Even though I am not a winter fan,
I enjoy embracing the seasons with decorations…
I hope you are healthy, happy, and ready for this new year!

Lovely. I have decreased the amount of decorating for the seasons. With lockdowns and no one coming over anymore, I am just not motivated to do a lot. I set a table now, but that’s about it. Lots of boxes have gone to the thrift stores recently.
Thanks Carole, I decorate as much for me as for anyone else, but I did do less this year…and I need to do some serious spring purging!
Jenna, I love all of your winter decor and especially those darling snowmen plates. I haven’t done much in the way of winter decorating, but you have inspired me! Happy Sunday♥️
Thanks Pam, since we can’t skip winter, we might as well embrace it!
Everything is absolutely gorgeous as always Jenna! It’s so nice to see that all is well in your world. Enjoy the rest of the weekend 🙂
Thank you Martha, so nice to hear from you!
I like your snowflakes that are hanging from the diningroom light Jenna. Wow, swimming in the pool in January! Not here in Philly:@)
We had unusually warm temps the week after Christmas, the day before it snowed it was 80!
Jenna, your winter decorations are so beautiful! I can see how they would bring great joy during this winter season. I love the idea of a Valentines Tree, and your citrus themed table is absolutely gorgeous! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
Thanks so much Shannon, the citrus table is one of my favorites 🍊
I love all your winter seasonal decor, Jenna! I am more of a bare necessities gal, but I enjoy others’. That evergreen table centerpiece is gorgeous! 2022 has started off rather mean for my family. My baby J has Covid, and even though she’s getting over it, it’ll be a challenge to keep her lungs clear of all the yuck that wants to settle there. My sil has had it too, and even though my daughter tested negative, she has been just as sick.
Oh no, how awful, I’m so sorry! My son thought he had it but luckily tested negative…I swear it’s like deja vu, the whole shut down happening over again! Stay safe…
Cozy, cozy indeed! Love your Winter Decor. The Valentine’s tree is perfect for this time. And those snowmen plates are too cute. And they went perfectly with your snow! How fun!
Enjoy your Sunday dear Jenna!
Thanks so much Nancy, I am not a fan of winter, so I try to keep things cheerful around here!
I’m not a winter fan, either, but I have to live with it so I do decorate for it. Love the snowfolk motif for those months and I always leave up the woodland tree much longer than the others for the light and wintry decorations on it. My Christmas is slowly coming down — piece by piece. I always hate taking it down and I’m glad I’m not the only one keeping a little tree light in the house!
I love sparkly lights any time of year and snowfolk make me smile…luckily we don’t have to deal with much snow in Alabama but we do have cold temps…stay cozy Jeanie!
Great winter ideas!
Thanks Dorothy⛄️
Love all of your winter decorations, Jenna. Those snowflakes ❄️ are really beautiful.
I am slowly taking down my Christmas decorations. I have some sweet little birds wearing a hat and scarf and a few snowmen that will stay out for a while.
Thanks Patty Anne, I am not a fan of winter, but I do love snowmen and cute winter decor!
I enjoyed seeing all your cute winter vignettes. Your wreath is my favorite! Are you decorating for the game? I thought about it but I just took down our Christmas decor today.
Thanks Ricki Jill, and Roll Tide! I will be watching with my son and his boys, we’re getting take-out so we can concentrate on the game!
I just love it all Jenna. I could never pick a favorite here as every thing just inspires me! I have got my Christmas in clear bins and everything is done with exception of putting the actual trees away. I winded up with 4 trees this year but got this feeling I need to downsize a bit. Just too much stuff which brings me to “I have so gotta declutter”. Maybe after retirement! LOL! Happy Week to you sweet Jenna. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Thank you Cindy, I think we are all guilty of having too much stuff! Every new year I set a goal to purge and give away and I never seem to get around to it!
Such a creative way to celebrate winter while at the beach. I like how you mixed snowflake plates with starfish on the table setting and love the darling tree. What a contrast, coming from beachy weather home to snow. All of your winter vignettes and table settingS are perfect for the winter season. Looking forward to the game tonight, just hope we pull it out. ROLL TIDE!
Thanks so much Emily, I don’t love winter but I do try to embrace it with wintery decor 🙂 Sad day for Bama 😢…
Your winter decorations range from cute to gorgeous. I love snowmen and snowflakes whether they match the weather or just give off winter vibes. What a contrast when you left the beach for a little further north. There is very little I regretted giving away when we downsized, but my snowmen dishes are one of them. Snowmen just bring happiness. Your post did that for me tonight.
Oh thank you Linda, snowmen make me smile too!
Jenna, I love all your winter decor – it just makes me smile! The tree is gorgeous, and the snowman plates are adorable. And the citrus – oh my goodness – what a lovely table and a scrumptious feast! The tree centerpiece is just beautiful! Hope you are staying warm and cozy and Happy New Year to you!
Thanks so much Kim! I am not a fan of winter, but I try to embrace it with pretty decor and happy snowmen 🙂 Happy 2022!
Your snowmen are adorable!!!
Thank you! I love snowmen!
Awesome “Citrus Explosion” tablescape! I love the happy and cheerful vibe.
Thank you Allyson, that is one of my favorite tablescapes, citrus really brightens dreary January!
Your house looks so beautiful with all your winter decorations, Jenna! I especially loved your tree and the colors you combined. You have a magical touch! ❄️⛄️
Oh thank you Jill, what a nice thing to say! As I am so not a fan of winter, I try hard to find ways to enjoy it 🙂
I love it when guests enjoy my changing seasonal decor, but I really do it for us and my daughter. Especially since my husband and I are spending SO much time at home, it lifts my spirits. And I love coming to visit you (virtually, of course!) and seeing all your creative ideas.
Thanks so much Sandra, and I agree I decorate purely for myself and my family’s enjoyment!
