Tablescapes, Winter Sparkle

We had dinner at this winter table last night
to celebrate my son-in-law’s birthday

The weather forecast said snow was on the way!

Lots of silver sparkle and snowy trees

And ice skating snowmen if you please!

They were swirling

And twirling…

And having so much fun

The party had begun!

There was a chocolate snowman at all the places

A sweet treat that brought smiles to many faces!

Fine china, cut crystal, and sterling silverware

This birthday dinner was an elegant affair!

This wintery table turns magical at night

The snowmen and trees are covered in mini white lights

A very beautiful sight!

The children’s eyes popped with delight!

The menu was simple yet the cornish hens
made it seem elegant

So nice and I love the snowman…really cute!
Thank you Angie, I like to keep some sparkle around during dreary January!
What a beautiful table decked out with winter fare.
It sure was an elegant affair!
Twinkling lights add to the sparkle…
but that snowman gives me a chuckle.
Potatoes and hens and peanut butter pie…
Oh My!
Thanks for such a lovely post…
Miss Jenna the beautiful host!
Happy Sunday, make it a fun day!
Ha ha, great poem Nancy!!
Very nice Jenna, I’m sure everyone had a great time! We’re expecting some snow in Philly today too. Have a great Sunday:@)
Thank you Lynn, we are trying to teach the littles proper table manners!
Happy Birthday to your son-in-law! I love the winter whites, especially with the lights!
Thank you Rita, white lights make everything extra special!
A table that just sparkles with celebration. You have lucky son-in-law.
Thank you Bernadette, he did feel special!
Classy and so beautiful! You really know how to throw a great dinner party!
Thanks so much Martha!
This might be one of my all-time favorite Jenna tablescapes. It’s magical and I can imagine sitting to dinner here and feeling transported. Is that Lismore I see in the goblets? My favorite! And of course, you give me a snowman and a bottlebrush tree, I’m over the moon.
On another note, I don’t think I’m getting email notfications from you anymore and have missed some things. Apologies if I’ve been MIA. I’m going to resubscribe!
Thanks so much Jeanie! Yes, it is Lismore by Waterford, good eye! We are trying to teach the grands proper table manners, we did use the china and silver, but I put the crystal away, didn’t want to risk that 😂 Sorry about the follow notifications, don’t know what happened there…technology! Thanks for resubscribing 😘
Beautiful table Jenna. Love the winter table with sparkle. The dancing snowman is darling. Perfect for this month of January and with snow coming. Stay warm and cozy.
Thanks so much Linda!
Jenna, I love your wintry and sparkly table. Happy birthday to your son-in-law. The table is elegant and the menu sounds fabulous.
No snow here, just rain. Stay warm and cozy!
Thank you Pam, we never got snow either, which is fine with me!
Oh that’s so wonderful Jenna! Your son-in-law must have been as delighted as the children! 🙂 I always love your poems and recipes, and this table was especially gorgeous at night! Thanks for this week’s inspiration!
Thank you Barbara! We did have a wonderful time 😊
I love your poem and your winter tablescape. Perfect for the unusual snow. I bet the kids were excited.
Thank you Linda, we had a grand time, and luckily the snow missed us. Very cold temps here this week, I hope to spend a lot of time cozy with a good book!
Jenna, I am sure your son-in-law felt very special at this beautiful and whimsical table. I love the ice skating snowmen. They are so adorable among all of the elegance of your classy tablescape. It is so cozy….so I would say….let it snow outside and sit a little longer at such a welcoming table.
Thanks so much Marsha, we had a very fun dinner with the ice skating snow people!
Jenna, your table is both elegant and happy at the same time. I thought it was so pretty in the daylight, but wow, how gorgeous it looked with all the twinkle lights at night! Those snowmen are precious, and the menu sounds delicious! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We got a little snow yesterday.
Thank you Shannon, we had a wonderful time and the snow missed us which was fine with me! Really cold though this week, I will be hibernating!
Would I love to be sitting at that table and enjoying the glitzy, sparkly decor and enjoying the delicious food. What a fun place to hang out …..your house!
Hi Diane! Thanks so much! We did have a lot of fun and the children did amazingly well dining in this formal setting!

Thanks Patty Anne, I love sparkle and lights!
Happy Birthday to your son-in-law! I love the winter whites, especially with the lights. The menu looked wonderful. Gotta try the white sauce on Cornish hens.
Thanks Deb, we had such a good time…The white sauce is wonderful on any type of chicken.
Happy Birthday to your SIL Jenna! Your table is beautiful with your white sparkling dinnerware, silver, skating snowmen and twinkling lights! Hope you’re staying warm & cozy. ♥
Thank you Mary, we had so much fun…luckily the snow missed us, but it’s really cold 🥶 are you snowed in?
Agree with Marmalade Gypsy–one of my faves and so elegant and magical. Love those lights! Hope the weather didn’t get too cold for you. Over here in Georgia we had actual snow, but it faded too soon. Stay warm, Bama and keep up these wonderful tablescapes–you are a wizard!
Georgia Gal
Thanks Georgia Gal, it really is one of my favorites too and we so enjoyed our dinner! We never did get snow, just very cold rain…I’ve been curled up with an electric blanket the past few days, I don’t handle cold weather very well!!
Jenna…what a very beautiful and oh so special table for the Birthday dinner. Your family must have been so ecstatic when seeing the most fabulous table that you created for this special occasion. A table that has it all….twinkling lights and snowmen skating…oh so elegant and yet so whimsical!….Hope your weather was not too bad!
Thank you so much Shirley! We enjoyed it and had a wonderful time~ never did get snow, just very cold rain…try to stay cozy this week!
Winter sparkle is delightful and so is your table. I’m sure the birthday guy was enchanted and I’m sure the kiddos definitely were. What perfectly matched winter weather for this setting. The twirling snowman, he’s just darling. I love everything about your table Jenna and I’m sure it was a wonderful evening.
Thank you Emily, we did have a grand time and luckily we didn’t get any snow, did you?

It all goes beautifully together. Your meal sounds delicious and I hope you had a lovely dinner. Take care down there!
