Recipe Box, Maple Glazed Pumpkin Walnut Rolls

It’s time for a little pumpkin treat!

These tempting little rolls are a breeze to put together and bake
Crescent roll dough, brown sugar, pumpkin puree,
pumpkin pie spice, sugar and walnuts

Mix the pumpkin puree with the sugars and pumpkin pie spice

Stir in the nuts
I used chopped honey roasted walnuts,
found in the salad dressing section of the grocery store,
but roasted pecans would be wonderful too

Lay out the dough triangles and place a heaping Tablespoon of filling
on the bottom of each triangle

Roll up the dough, tucking the filling inside, to form rolls

Put rolls on a sprayed or lined baking sheet

Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10-13 minutes until golden

While rolls are baking, make the maple glaze

Mix powdered sugar with maple syrup and milk or cream

Let the rolls cool for 10 minutes and then spoon on the glaze

Top with a few more chopped walnuts

Serve these for breakfast, brunch or an afternoon snack

Jenna,
This is such a wonderful idea! It looks easy using the crescent roll dough. I can only imagine how good these filled rolls taste with the pumpkin and the maple flavors. Sounds like a good project to make with the grandkids (ages 11 and 14). Thanks
Thanks Judee, yes, this is a good recipe for kitchen helpers!
These look DELICIOUS! I have tried to fill crescent rolls like you have done here, but my filling always comes out. 🙁
Thanks Pattie, they are good 🙂 as for the dough, I just pinched it closed around the glob of filling and then rolled up, more like ball than a perfect crescent roll, but once they’re golden and iced it won’t matter…
Best. Recipes. Ever. 🌸🌸
Thank you Jessica!
You’re very welcome. I’ve said it before, but I like how the ingredients are things I might normally have on hand.
