The Organized Life, March Paint Bucket

It’s hard not to think of St. Patrick’s Day when March arrives,
so the bucket list this month is full of green
Flavor/theme for March is Green Recipes
You can see photos of these recipes in the March section
of my Pinterest Monthly Paint Bucket board here

Cheesy Spinach and Artichoke Heart Quesadilla
Mardi Gras Salad from The Healthy Cooking Blog
inspired my own creation of a Mardi Gras Salad
I wanted to make Butternut Squash Pot Pie from How Sweet Eats
but every time I read the recipe,
all I could think about was the Fall vibe it had…

and created this yummy

Instead of Artichoke Bleu Cheese Fettucini from Taste of Home
I created a very tasty Valentine version of tetrazzini
I shared a round-up of last Minute food ideas for
The Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day
is a citrus pound cake with a citrus glaze
that can be decorated for Mardi Gras
or any occasion by changing the colors of the sprinkles
Butterfinger Bundt Cake from Plain Chicken was on my bucket list
and I still want to make it,
but when I needed a special dessert for HHjr’s birthday,
{he doesn’t like cake}
I used Butterfinger candy bars to make
Butterfinger Cheesecake Parfaits,
an easy, no bake dessert!
I’m looking forward to March and Saint Patrick’s Day fun!

[…] are a lot of green recipes on my March Bucket List this […]
Can’t believe that Feb. is about to end! You for sure had a very productive month, Jenna.
Thanks Angie, I’m ready for some March fun!
I was thinking the same this morning as I think about what to share today. Green came to mind! I look forward to our fun Tea on a Tray blog hop this coming Tuesday. Organizing here and visiting age old collections, I decided to use some of my Quimper pieces. I started to go with a green set for March, but ultimately used a traditional pattern. Wish we were close enough to actually sit at a tea table enjoying a cuppa and a tête-à-tête. Happy Sunday!
I wish we lived closer to Sarah, oh the fun we would have! I’m looking forward to seeing your Quimper tea tray on Tuesday!
Last year we went out to eat on St. Patrick’s Day at the only Irish pub in our area. It was such a huge disappointment. New Mexico has better Irish food than Oklahoma??? We will eat at home this year already knowing that our food will be delicious! It was fun to see your green tablescape.
Haha, hard to believe you had good Irish food in New Mexico! I’m sure the meal you have at home will be much better!
Loved seeing your green tablescape. I wonderful March Paint Bucket to look forward too!
And looking forward to your special posts!
Thanks Nancy, I hope you have a wonderful week!
I always enjoy your monthly paint buckets, Jenna. The easy no bake Oreo mint cheesecake sounds delicious! Oreos are a favorite at our house!
