The Organized Life, April Paint Bucket

Happy April and Happy Spring!

My monthly paint bucket is the way I organize recipes

I want to make during the month

I add to it all throughout the previous month

as I get ideas and see things I want to try…

This month’s list is has recipes for Easter and The Masters,

air fryer and slow cooker recipes,

a wide variety of ingredients, cooking methods and colors…

The flavor/theme of the month is Colorful!

You can see photos of these inspiration recipes

in the April section of my Monthly Pinterest board here

This is what I made from the March Paint Bucket

the flavor/theme of the month was

Green Recipes in honor of St. Patrick’s Day

I shared a St. Patrick’s Day Appetizer Round-up

Irish Pub Cheese Spread from A Spicy Perspective

was the inspiration for this favorite

Cauliflower Steaks with Irish Pub Sauce

You have to honor the Irish

with a wonderful potato recipe in March,

how about a festive Creamy Chive Potato Pie ~

this recipe was inspired by

Savory Irish Potato Pie from A Spicy Perspective

Rainbow Lasagna from the Painted Apron archives

is lighter than regular lasagna and a nice meal for Spring and Summer

Parmesan Asparagus Orzo is another dish that is lighter

than pasta casseroles

and you can make a delicious Chopped Italian Salad

with the leftovers~

put it in a jar for a great grab and go lunch!

I saw a recipe for Bailey’s Irish Creme Mug Brownie

from How Sweet Eats

and read that this dessert for 1 can be cooked in only 1 minute~

I just had to try it!

I thought it had a cake like texture so I dubbed it a “Crownie”

Topped with ice cream it became a

2 Minute “Crownie” Sundae!

It’s going to be another delicious month!
