Take-out Tuesday, St. Patrick’s Day is on the Way

Let’s cook up some recipes to make the leprechauns dance!

Leprechaun Snack Mix is perfect for Spring nibbling

This is a version of St. Patrick’s Day Chex Cereal Mix

“Irish” potato sticks, GOLDfish, and “treasure coins” aka peanut M & Ms

I just picked out the orange, yellow and green ones

from a two lb. bag of multicolored M & Ms

You can freeze the bag of leftover M & Ms

for future use if desired

Gold Nuggets are like mini grilled cheese sandwiches

Serve them as an appetizer or as a side with soup or salad

Worcestershire and cayenne give them a flavor boost

and they’re pretty irresistible

😋

St. Patrick’ Day Galette is full of healthy vegetables

with the colors of St. Patrick’s Day

You can serve it as a side dish

or add some ham and serve it as a main dish

Pot of Gold Soup with Lucky Croutons

A cheese soup made with a rainbow of colors~

onions, celery, red, yellow and green peppers

You will feel lucky indeed when you taste the lucky croutons

of bacon wrapped Brussels sprouts

These would make wonderful appetizers too

This is one of my favorites,

Cauliflower Steaks with Irish Pub Sauce

Cut a head of cauliflower into thick slices and roast

Roasting gives it an amazing flavor

and the beer cheese sauce looks like a pot of gold!

I love to make quiche, it is easy to prepare,

a great way to use leftovers, and is always delicious

Pot of Gold Quiche is filled with fresh spinach,

onions, asparagus, bacon, corn and cheese

It will definitely put a spring in your step!

For dessert try this luscious

Chocolate Cake with Pistachio Ganache

☘️It’s definitely drool worthy!☘️

Those bacon wrapped Brussel sprouts look wonderful. We were quite disappointed last year in the one restaurant in town that served Irish food. We’ll do our own this year!
