Sunday Supper, Favorite Recipes for Dads

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing Dads out there!

Yes, today is a special day,

but fathers deserve to be celebrated all through the year

I’ve rounded up recipes that the Dads in my life really enjoy

to keep celebrating fathers long after today!

HHjr’s very favorite breakfast is Sausage Gravy Biscuit Bake

Canned biscuits are cut into smaller pieces

and submerged in a creamy country sausage gravy and baked

Rock Star Short Ribs are a tried and true favorite with my son and his sons

and they appear on our menu regularly

They are a slow cooker dump, set and forget recipe too

Guys love recipes with BBQ sauce and especially bourbon~

This Peachy Bourbon BBQ Chicken brings raves

This is also a dump, set and forget slow cooker recipe

It is wonderful with another Southern favorite, Baked Cheese Grits

Maple Bourbon Glazed Ham is based with a mixture of bourbon,

maple syrup and butter, Yum!

I like to serve this sliced and then use leftovers

to make a variety of other casseroles

Serve it with a side of Incredibly Easy Scalloped Potatoes

and everyone will be in heaven

Party Chicken Bake is a tried and true classic that my son-in-law loves

Its very easy to make too

Enchiladas are also a favorite with my guys

and I have quite a few versions~

Secret Chicken Enchiladas are always welcomed

Pumpkin Alfredo Ravioli Bake brought my guys back for seconds

and it’s super easy to make, win win!

One of HHjr’s best friends, Colby, is like a son to me,

they’ve been friends since they were very young

He often goes to the beach house with us

and one time he offered to make his “specialty” potatoes~

We were hooked after one bite and make these often

They are good with just about everything!

Colby’s Everything Potatoes

Artichokes with Dreamy Lemon Sauce are HHjr’s favorite side or appetizer

My 11 year old grandson, Big E will polish a whole one off all by himself!

I plan on making my son and son-in-law their favorite dessert,

Bushwacker Pie when we’re at the beach for the 4th holiday week

It has an ice cream like filling made with several liqueurs

All these recipes are guaranteed to bring big thank yous!

Good morning, Jenna! All of these dishes are sure to please all of the dads on this Father’s Day. They all look scrumptious! I have been up since very early putting the finishing touches on a Father’s Day brunch to celebrate my hubby, dad, and father-in-law. I have a special gathering planned to celebrate them all. Wishing you a most happy day, sweet friend!

All of these recipes look delicious! 😀 Shanley Belle and Christopher will be coming home for Independence Day. They’re flying into Atlanta and driving straight to the lake. Bluff’s on our dock (restaurant and bar) serves the best Bushwackers, and I think they would LOVE the pie! Thanks for putting together this round-up post!

Ah Jenna, this is a wonderful round-up of dad favorites! The sausage gravy biscuit bake sounds intriguing and I like anything that can be done in the slow cooker. I’ll have to check out the cheese grits too – they sound delicious. Thank you for sharing and I hope your son and son-in-law had a fabulous Father’s Day!

  13. It was so hot here (I know — you guys are used to it!) that we had stove-top Kung Pao chicken from TJs and a salad! But these might be good ANY day, not just Father’s day!

  14. Mary says:

Such a tasty round up Jenna! Hope HHjr had a happy Father’s Day! ♥
