  1. Unfortunately, it has been a lousy summer here..lots of rain and not enough sunshine…hopefully August will be better.

I was melting here in Birmingham yesterday! This has been the best summer for peaches! I look forward to your recipes this month, Jenna.

Jenna, I don’t venture outside much during these hot and humid July and August days! We’ve had one stormy day after another, just so steamy. Oh my goodness at the amazing delicious recipes for August. I love the corn of the cob cake, how fun for a summer get together. Looking forward to fall temps, can’t come soon enough.

  4. It all looks so good!

Wow! Jenna, thanks for the recipe roundup! I am enjoying some great peaches from the nearby produce stand, along with some Silver Queen corn and fabulous tomatoes. Will be using your recipes this month!
A surprise for you–you are my mentor. I actually started using my colored pencils, sketch books, etc. in an effort to replicate some of your FEARLESS FRIDAY offerings. I am clearly an amateur compared to you and my daughter, but it is my creative outlet and therapy. Thanks, Jenna, you always inspire us all! Georgia Gal

    • Hi Georgia Gal! I bought 6 beautiful peaches yesterday, planning to make some of the recipes on my bucket list, and next thing I knew, 4 of them had disappeared~ my grandsons were eating them up! They are hard to resist right now! I am delighted to hear that I’ve inspired you to do art, that really makes my heart sing!

  6. Bernadette says:

Great roundup Jenna and perfect for this season.

  7. Pam says:

Peaches are a favorite summer fruit. The fresh peach bread sounds really great. We ate at Bottega Cafe yesterday and Butch had roasted duroc pork chop with field peas, zucchini, polenta, and peaches. He said it was one of the best dishes he had enjoyed at Bottega. It also had a peach relish!

I will look forward to your peach recipes, Jenna! It is so hot I don’t want to even venture outside!

    • Thanks Pam! I bought 6 peaches yesterday and they must be delicious because in under an hour my 12 year old grandson ate 3! Yes, it’s awfully hot, I’m hibernating in the AC!

  8. Nancy says:

Its been warm here as well. We need rain!
All of your recipes look delicious. I would love to see anything with peaches.
Looking forward to all your goodness.
    Stay cool!

  9. I love peaches and so you can bet I’ll be trying some of these. (Last night it was peach and black cherry crisp!). Thanks, Jenna!

  10. lghiggins says:

Even though it is low 80’s where I am summering, cool dishes sound perfect. Thanks for the good ideas, Jenna!

  11. Mary says:

Hurray for peach season Jenna! We always look forward to our favorite ‘Big Red’ peach variety available in mid August. Happy Sunday ♥

  12. Kim says:

Yum – these all sound delicious and I can’t wait to see what you do. The peach cobbler sounds divine! I’m sorry it’s been so hot there for you – we finally got some rain and the temps have cooled considerably (currently mid-sixtyish or so). Stay cool! P.S. I’m craving peaches now lol.
