Thinking Fall

Even though our temps are still in the 90s,

our schools have started and with September on the horizon,

I am starting to have thoughts of Fall…

Also apples, and perhaps a pumpkin or three…

Autumn is always bittersweet. You have demonstrated in your decorating the sweet part beautifully.

I love all things fall and can’t wait for the season…pumpkins, football, sweaters! Thank you for the autumn inspiration, Jenna!

    Happy Sunday!

  3. As much as I love fall, I just cannot think about it in August when it is so hot. I don’t like to rush the seasons, leaving each one to its own time.

  4. And before you know it, X’mas is right there. We have a lousy summer this year…now we finally have some nice warm weather, so I hope summer stays a bit longer.

I enjoy seeing all your fall ideas, pictures and recipes. They are all wonderful!
I am here at the lake and will start thinking about fall in September. But I may make a run to Home Goods this week before the fall rush begins. 😊
    Thanks for all your ideas!

Wonderful fall calling card, Jenna! I have been “thinking fall” as well. It is still hot over here in GA, but really astute Southern women can hear the faint call of fall beckoning off in the distance. And just like you we pull out our fall recipes and leaves and pictures and so on. Summer will have a last hurrah, but fall will then appear with all its beautiful colors. Me? I will decorate, but I am DEFINITELY going to make that Maple Leaf Bundt Cake! That’s a keeper–thanks, buddy.

I’m not quite on the fall wagon yet, but your post is inspiring. I found last year that when I arrived back in civilization in November(i.e. a place with Hobby Lobby and Home Goods 🤪), fall decorations were already out the door and December ones were hot on their heels. I need someone like you to keep me forward thinking!

These are all so much fun! I love how you decorate your outdoor kitchen. 😀

  9. I’m not yet ready to think fall. Have barely accepted it is summer!

Jenna I have not thought about Fall although I do love that season. I am enjoying the summer salads, sweet tea and al fresco eating, sunrises and sunsets. Thank you for your decorating ideas. Have a great week. Blessings

Oh so pretty! Love sunflowers – and I love how you’ve used them! Thanks for the decoarting inspiration, and the food too! Mmmmm that cake!!

What a beautiful round-up of fall inspiration here Jenna – love all the sunflowers, pumpkins, and that maple bundt cake looks absolutely delicious! HomeSense has the shelves packed with Halloween and are just catching up with the fall stuff now. After moving (and still unpacking), I’m trying to stay away from the stores lol, so I really loved all the fall inspiration you shared. Happy Tuesday!

    • Thanks Kim, I’m sure your move was overwhelming, I can’t even imagine! And I’m sure the last thing you want is more “stuff” I hope you’re close to settling in and being able to relax and enjoy your new home 💕

As soon as August hits, I start thinking about fall. I think because, at that point, my garden is weedy and overgrown, I’ve been disappointed by the lack of production in some areas, and overwhelmed by production ain others. I’ve had enough of the hot weather, and I’m ready for something with pumpkin. There’s some great inspiration here.
