Bundt Cakes for the Holidays

Bundt Cakes are my favorite go to dessert

Mine are easy to make too~

I like to use boxed cake mix as the base

and “doctor” it up with an extra egg, real butter

and sometimes sour cream or instant pudding

Maple Leaf Bundt Cake

National Bundt Cake day is coming up on November 15,

and that inspired me to share a round up

of some of my favorite Bundt Cakes

that will be perfect for Thanksgiving,

football playoffs and Christmas!

Million Dollar Pound Cake with Toffee Crown

is truly swoonworthy and perfect for any occasion

Pumpkin Spice Bundt Cake with Maple Buttercream

has all the flavors of Fall

Spice Cake mix is amped up with pumpkin puree,

buttermilk, vanilla pudding mix, eggs, butter,

sour cream, white chocolate chips, and toffee bits

Show Your Colors Cake

uses colored batters to make a cake for the big game

Tiramisu Bundt Cake with Kahlua Caramel has a cheesecake filling

and is topped with white chocolate chips

White Chocolate Raspberry Bundt has raspberry pie filling

and white chocolate chips inside

Peppermint Candyland Cake

is iced with white chocolate ganache

and topped with Christmas candies

Sugared Lemon Donut Cake

can be iced with any color cream cheese icing

and topped with any color sprinkles

to make it fit any occasion

This Snownut Cake is very similar to the Donut Cake,

with white buttercream icing and white chocolate chips

Oh, and bundt cakes aren’t just for dessert

you can make one for breakfast and dinner too!

Blueberry Breakfast Bundt is filled with bacon and blueberries

flavored with maple syrup and cinnamon,

and covered with a cream cheese glaze

Make a Spaghetti Bundt , dinner in a bundt pan!

You can also use a bundt pan to make a great appetizer

Italian Party Bundt is a pull apart bread

that fingers can grab a piece and dip it in a bowl of marinara sauce

Change up traditional garlic bread and make it in a bundt pan

Biscuit pieces are layered with Parmesan and garlic butter

in the bundt pan and baked for

Have you ever wondered how a bundt cake came to be so popular?

According to National Day Food:

“It all started in 1950 when a group of women from Minneapolis had an idea to make their cakes stand out. They asked H. David Dalquist, the founder of Nordic Ware (famous for their baking pans and cookware) to make them a special pan so that their cakes could have extra flair compared to other creations. After much trial and error, Dalquist created the Bundt pan – a cast aluminum mold with fluted ridges and a central tube for even heat distribution. And just like that, the Bundt was born!”

    These all look so beautiful! I am going to try that white chocolate raspberry bundt cake. I have a recipe for that (that may or may not be the same as yours) that is supposed to replicate the mini bundt cakes that they offer at Nothing Bundt Cakes. That’s my favorite of all the little cakes that they do, so fingers crossed I get similar results.
