Let Sunflowers Take You into Fall

I start thinking about Fall this time of year,
as our schools start August 7th!
I love sunflowers any time
but I especially like to use them
to transition from Summer to Fall~
An Early Fall Wreath on the front door…
And, while you’re at it, make one for inside too!
I like to have a seasonal centerpiece
on the glass table in the entryway
which is seen from all over the house

Sunflowers are paired with juicy Summer tomatoes
for a late Summer look
A MacKenzie-Childs tiered tray
looks so pretty full of faux sunflowers

Perfect for a late summer tablescape with
sunflower plates and sunflower napkin rings

I also like to use a cake pedestal to elevate a flower arrangement
The small wood pumpkins at the base add a hint of Fall
Painted wine bottles are grouped together
to form a sunflower “vase”
A Sunflower Snack Jar for the kitchen

Sunflowers added to a kitchen vignette

September Sunflowers table with a sunflower runner

With faux sunflowers tucked in the chandy!

A pitcher with Painted Sunflowers is a double dose!
Fill the days ahead with sunflowers!

Sunflowers always make me happy! I enjoyed seeing all your Sunflower displays.
Happy Thursday to you! 🌻
They seem to immediately light up the space they’re in! Thanks Nancy, have a great weekend!
I’m not read to go there yet, but the sunflowers have been beautiful here so far.
I like sunflowers any time of year!
I love sunflowers, they are a happy flower and I love all the way you incorporate them into your decorating! They make me smile 💛💛
Happy Thursday, Jenna 🌻🌻🌻
I love the way you grow them in your garden!
I love sunflowers! Here we don’t start to see them till late August and into September. They always make me smile. Big!
Me too, thanks Jeanie!
Jenna luv the sunflowers…of course I am a Floridian now but I was once a sunflower from the sunflower state! LOL. Happy Thursday and stay cool. 🙏🏻❤️🌸
Once a sunflower, always a sunflower!
Lately I have been thinking about these grand blooms too!
They are so happy!
Jenna, you have so many wonderful and creative ideas here I hardly know where to start! Love your sunflower theme and yes, they are such happy flowers. I forgot that the kids go back to school in August and it must seem like fall is not far behind. Love the bee pitcher and the sunflower pitcher. The sunflower tablescape is so cute, especially with the sunflowers on the chandy. Funny thing, I was in Michaels today looking for… yes, sunflowers lol. The have lots of them in stock but I’ll wait until they go on sale. Thanks for all the creativity here and I hope you are enjoying your summer.
Thank you Kim, they are certainly a favorite of mine! Look on Amazon {the link is in my blog post under the tiered tray of blooms} they have very good prices~
Sunflowers are the perfect flower to transition for summer to fall with their warm brown center and sunny golden rays Jenna! I’m counting down the days until fall with this summer heat, love your round up! 🌻💛
I absolutely love sunflowers. This is the cutest post, and I also think of them as fall transitional flowers!
I think sunflowers make everyone smile!🌻
I just love sunflowers and how you’ve used them, Jenna. They still feel like summer, yet they’re sort of a preview to fall with their golden faces. I love how you painted the snack jar! And the tomato can ‘vase’ is a great look. Of course, M-C and sunflowers are a perfect pair!
Thank you Rita, sunflowers are such happy flowers, they immediately brightn any space they’re in!
Your sunflower decorations look beautiful and your table is amazing. I feel the same way – take my patriotic decor down after 4th of July and do sunflowers, bees, and black and white – then as it gets closer to fall I tuck in some leaves. Got some great ideas from your post – thanks !
Thank you! Great idea to tuck in some leaves!
