Party Panache, Party Favor Tree

My little silver “Charlie Brown” Tree recently went to a baby shower!

All decked out in party favors!

DD and I were asked to bring an appetizer for the afternoon gathering

We decided to make a snack mix, full of mini treats and some blue and white Jelly Bellies

We knew that there would be a lot of food so instead of serving it in a big bowl, we put it in individual bags and turned it into a party favor, a treat to take home

I got the bags at Target and DD made the tags [she’s a professional designer and has access to all kinds of cool computer graphic programs]

She made them to match the Baby Block Wreath

It hung on the door between the bar area on the patio and the dining room

We had plenty of bags to make a whole tree full of treats!

A galvanized tray held the overflow

By the way, if you don’t want to use a tree, the favor bags look pretty cute in a big basket too

Now, just in case you aren’t hosting a baby shower, you can use this idea for Christmas~

Fill a small table top tree with Christmas treats

It will serve double duty as a decoration and be handy to hold small gifts for holiday visitors

The bendable branches can be positioned to hold the bags securely or you can hang them from ribbon

I got my tabletop silver tree at Hobby Lobby last fall [they still have them in lots of colors]  Christmas is all 50% off now~

I have had so much fun with the scrawny little thing, this is the 8th time I’ve used it in a year!

It’s quite handy!

I think the snack tree is a great idea Jenna! Adds a little height to the buffet area too:@)

Love your snack/shower tree for take home treats Jenna! Your little tree has a lot of creative mileage on it 🙂

I’ve often wondered if we would enjoy a small table-top tree on the buffet in the kitchen. You definitely proven it could remain there all year! I’ve enjoyed seeing the different ways you’ve used your tree (the Ole’ Miss/Auburn tree, too). It looks like great fun!

What a fabulously creative idea!! I love it when I can go vertical and the tree does that perfectly.
