Gifts from the Kitchen, Winter Basket and a Special Sale

For years I volunteered at an organization that raised money for a local children’s museum and the main fund raiser was selling Valentine baskets
Every year we put bought items in bulk for 5 different baskets, geared to children, teenagers, women, men, and deluxe baskets for anyone. It took weeks to assemble these hundreds of baskets, but it was such fun, and many lasting friendships were made…
Thus started my love of gift baskets, assembling personal baskets for all occasions, shopping for special items and something to pack them in…
My children always get baskets for Valentine’s Day, last year I filled red and white baskets from the Target $ bin with BBQ and manly items for the guys, girly things for DD, and small heart baskets of treats and toys for the kiddos
The fun is in the shopping!
Just pick a store and get creative! The above gift items came from Trader Joe’s, secured with tape and twine and wrapped in a kitchen towel
I was shopping in Home Goods one day and found so many cute snowman items, they inspired me to put together a snowman themed basket for a special friend and her family
Snowman chocolates, cookie mix with cutter, shortbread bites, winter pasta, snowman cupcake mold,
Snowflake sprinkles, buttermilk pancake mix, chocolate cocoa, raspberry syrup
Even an adorable snowflake ceramic bowl
All tucked in a cute chalkboard tag basket and tied with a festive ribbon

So cute! And who doesn’t love receiving gifts like that?! I have a sister who often shops like that and creates gift baskets, whether it’s a thank you, a shower or Christmas gift exchange. Fun!
Thanks Rita, I’m sure you could put a great one together with things from your shop!

Your treat basket are so cute, and I know everyone appreciates theme. I like themed baskets! I think they make the most thoughtful hostess gifts. It’s fun seeing your baskets and your creative ideas, Jenna. I need to check out Society 6. I don’t know that much about it!
Treat baskets are as much fun to make as they are to give or get! Great excuse to go shopping at your favorite stores too 🙂
