Recipe Box, Fruit Salads for Summer
I am traveling this week, so today I thought I’d round up some favorite summer fruit salads to re-share
These are wonderful for summer dining and outdoor BBQs
Lazy Day Grape Salad this is an old Southern favorite, getting it’s creaminess from sour cream and cream cheese, sweetened with brown sugar, and topped with crunchy pecans
Berry Salad with Orange Marmalade Vinaigrette and Monte Cristo Croutons is one of my favorites, a grilled cheese sandwich on a salad!
The Orange Marmalade Vinaigrette is light and slightly sweet
Fresh Grilled Peach Salad with Raspberry Balsamic Glaze
You can grill the peaches outside or on a grill pan on your stove top
Grilled Romaine with Pears, Grapes, Brussels & Bleu
This is a fabulous salad for a light dinner, so delicious on a hot summer night!
Wild Rice Salad with Corn, Peas & Blueberries with crunchy snow peas, fresh summer corn, cucumbers and blueberries is a delightful change from everyday salads, and wonderful with grilled meats
Strawberry Dressing & Spinach Salad with Apples, Pears, & Berries
You must try this fresh strawberry dressing, only 4 ingredients and it’s good enough to drink!
Spinach Salad with Apples, Pears, & Strawberries
Roasted Stone Fruit & Berry Salad
This is another of my very favorites, roasting the fruit with the cheese makes a magical dressing for crisp greens
This requires no prep at all if you buy the melon and pineapple already cubed, just toss in some grapes and berries, drizzle with cream of coconut and sprinkle with shredded coconut
Sunny Side Up Salad will definitely get your day off to a great start… Bacon & eggs a whole new way!
This is a shortcut salad, using bagged salad as a base and adding nuts and pinepple

Looks like some real winners there which I’ll be trying, especially that Strawberry salad dressing! Jenna, last night we had the Picnic Chicken and the Berry Cobbler in the crock pot and OH MY GOSH, both are 5 STARS. A hit at our table for sure and our guests raved about both dishes. I was so pleased, they will be in my recipe arsenol now for sure! So easy to make also. Thanks again and safe travels, especially over the holiday!

I love a wonderful fruit salad, and the grape salad remains a favorite after all the years making it! Stay safe, sounds like you will get lots of rain!
