Creations, Decoupage Memory Box

I know Valentine’s day is so yesterday,
but it is still February,
and I had an idea about how I could enjoy my Valentine cards all year long
I found this wood cube in the craft section of Target and decided to decoupage parts of the cards on it
I cut some pieces and shapes out of a few of the cards, and left some whole
I painted the cube black with chalkboard paint, thinking I could add further embellishments on the black parts not covered with a chalk paint pen
Once the paint is dry, the fun begins!
Both cards {above and below} were handmade
so they were decoupaged on with out changing them
I used cut out parts of the cards that were too big to fit
and to add interest
Text pieces and sweet photos
Once it was dry I added a few XOs
There wasn’t much room, I was able to cover most of the 6″ cube
I am going to enjoy my Valentines all year round 💕
Thank you my friends for all the beautiful Valentines!
💕 ❤️ 🌺 🌹 💕

she’ll love it! I have mine in my bedroom and smile every time I see it!
You got VERY pretty cards and I love the idea of doing the deco on the box. It’s a nice size, too — Good storage for all that small stuff that somehow ends up on the desk!
How sweet is that! Love boxes of any size and shape, but this is extra special! What a great idea! Pinned! ♥️😊
