Holidays, February Holiday Ideas

The calendar pages of January are quickly flipping by

and February is on the horizon…

I love all holidays and love to decorate and celebrate!

Valentine’s Day and Fat Tuesday,

the last day of the Mardi Gras season are such fun,

Let’s get in the mood to celebrate these holidays

with some crafts, decorations and recipes!

You can make a heart wreath to decorate your home with coat hangers

and torn fabric scraps or ribbons tutorial here

or put Valentine’s Day on a Tray

You can make a hugs and kisses table runner or place mats

with butcher paper or freezer paper and paint

Make napkin rings with ribbon and paint or marker

Show your family or friends some love with

Valentine Cheese Muffins

Raspberry Bread Pudding can be served for breakfast, brunch or dessert

How about a sweet treat like Chocolate Ravioli

A trifle dessert is impressive, yet easy to make

Or how about Valentine Snack Mix made with peanut butter and bacon,

now that’s true love!!

Fat Tuesday, the final day of Mardi Gras,

is a week after Valentine’s Day this year,

falling on February 21

Celebrating Mardi Gras is very popular in the deep South,

join the festivities with some Mardi Gras decor!

You can paint a board to display

You can add a Mardi Gras flower arrangement to your home

with green, purple and golden yellow flowers

to hearts

and green, purple and gold!
