Take-out Tuesday, Honey Mustard Maple Chicken

The other night I was in charge of dinner

I knew I wanted to make Crazy Good Broccoli Salad

Hmmm…what I could make for a main dish to go with it?

I looked through my recipe archives

and found an old favorite that I decided would be perfect,

Mustard Maple Chicken Thighs

I changed the recipe just a little,

and used mayonnaise, regular maple syrup

and my favorite Honey Cup Mustard

For best results,

use quality full fat mayonnaise and real maple syrup

Not only is this super easy,

This chicken is insanely good!

Put the chicken in a foil

or parchment lined baking dish for easy clean up

Spread the thighs with a generous coating of mayonnaise,

and season with salt & pepper

After dinner there just one little thigh was left!

I discovered a secret for very tender chicken~

Cover it with mayonnaise like the chicken tenders below

[For the sake of demonstration

I borrowed a photo from another recipe

so pretend they’re chicken thighs]

With the back of a large spoon,

spread the mayonnaise in a thick even layer

all over the top and sides of chicken

Mix the honey mustard and maple syrup and pour it over the chicken

Bake in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes,

then reduce temperature to 350

and continue baking for 20 minutes

Spoon sauce over chicken to serve

This is so easy and so good,

you will be making this again and again!
