Take-out Tuesday, Crazy Good Onion Recipes!

The flavor/theme of the month for my August Bucket List

is Vidalia onions

I rounded up a few older favorite Vidalia onion recipes

in case you missed them

Bacon and Bleu Stuffed Vidalias

are a wonderful side dish with steak, pork or chicken

We also loved Easy Peasy Cheesy Vidalia Onion Dip

it’s perfect for any gathering and effortless to make

Thinking about Vidalia onions got me thinking

about all my favorite onion recipes

like French Onion Soup and

Slow Cooker French Onion Ravioli Soup

How about instead of serving your soup in a bowl,

serve it over a baked potato!

French Onion Soup Potato Boats

It’s too hot right now to think about soup,

but the soup got me thinking about other French onion recipes~

the mind forever wanders…

Give your pasta a French Onion Soup flavor like this

French Onion Soup Penne

Or serve your French Onion Soup in a casserole

There is plenty of the cheesy bread that is the best part of onion soup!

Make a tasty main dish casserole like

French Onion Chicken Bubble Up

It doesn’t have any French onion soup in it

but it’s loaded with tasty French Fried Onions

French Onion Asparagus Gratin

is a twist on the traditional Green Bean Casserole

It can be turned into an appetizer too!

French Onion Asparagus Tarts

If you really want to go crazy how about Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings

I told you my mind was wandering!

What is your favorite onion recipe or way to serve onions?
