Tablescapes, Pumpkins & Polka Dots!

I shared photos of my favorite grocery store recently
and found myself going back to the store for another look

Last year I bought several small MacKenzie-Childs knock-off pumpkins
from this amazing gift shop area
{much easier on the wallet than the real deal} 😂

I decided they needed some cousins!

Then I saw this table runner on Amazon… $9.99!
I fell in love…
And a tablescape was born!
A pile of pumpkins to adorn!
A pile of pumpkins with polka dots and checks

The patterns are simple, not very complex
They look so festive gathered this way
I love to get my pumpkins out to play and display
Each place has a pumpkin tureen and a polka dot plate

The tureens are full of Pumpkin and Apple Soup,
I can hardly wait!

Even the glasses have dots and stripes
They are ready to be filled with beverages of all types

There are checks on the candlesticks and on the pumpkin bows
This pumpkin table sets my heart all aglow!

What a beautiful table set up! I love those napkins and table runner. An excellent job, Jenna.
Thanks so much Angie!
This table is darling. That runner reminds me a lot of your painting style and if you had said you had painted it, I wouldn’t have been surprised! I love the knock offs just as much as the real deal and the price is much better!
Thank you Jeanie, yes the pumpkins were about 1/10 th of the price of the MKC ones!
Beautiful and inspiring! I love, love, love the polka dot pumpkin!
Thanks so much Dorothy!
Oh wow Jenna, I think your pumpkins and polka dot table setting is darling! I do love the cousins, such a cute pair to go with the originals from last year. The linens, the runner and napkins/tea towels are adorable too. I’m overwhelmed with this setting, love! I hope we can get together soon, been too long. I still haven’t been to the the PW with the gift shop……
Thanks Emily, I couldn’t resist buying a few more 🙂 Come to Bham and we can go shopping!
I love your table setting Jenna…what a find on the MC knock-offs. I have resisted the urge to go all the way with MC…so expensive but they are so unique and lovely. Thanks for your prose too…Love it.
Thank you Kari! I love the knock off pumpkins, and they are super reasonably priced…the MKC ones are so pretty but the price, ouch!
My seashells are still out – you know I’m a summer fanatic. But you keep tempting me and this may push me over the edge and make me pull out fall/autumn a few days early. Fun projects with polka dots are too much to resist!
Once football season arrives I’m all in for Fall! Happy decorating!
Your tablescape is fabulous; I love using a lot of pumpkins! And your house is really beautiful as is your beach house. Happy Fall!
Thanks so much Judy! Have fun with your pumpkins!
Oh! What a darling table Jenna! I love all your pumpkins, the runner, and the whole look. The overall color scheme is lovely – so soft and welcoming! I especially love the orange painted pumpkin we can see at the back. I’ll have to check out your tutorial next! Thanks for the wonderful fall inspiration!
Thank you Barbara 🙂 When I saw that runner, I couldn’t wait for it to arrive so I could load it up with pumpkins!
Ooh, Jenna! That’s so well put together and so cute! I wondered how you resisted those pumpkins in your store when you posted that. My pumpkin patch is getting out of control. I am trying really hard to put my blinders on, but I spied some cute ones (b&w) in our antique mall! So far so good not to cave……
Thanks so much Rita! I won’t let myself go shopping anymore but that grocery store gift section gets me every time!
Oh, how wonderful–can life get any better than adding POLKA DOTS?!!! This is a wonderful tablescape that gets us all rolling toward officially embracing fall. I’m even feeling a bit of a “witchy” vibe!

Happy Fall, Jenna!–Georgia Gal
Thanks so much Georgia Gal! It’s finally cooling off and looking more like fall. Love the Roald Dahl quote!
Oh Jenna, your table is adorable. I love your collection of pumpkins with checks and polka dots, and flowers, and your MKC knock-offs are beautiful and they look like the real thing. The pumpkin tureens look so cute on the polka dot plates and the table runner is just perfect for your table. I am in love with the glasses – did you paint them? Happy fall!!
Thank you Kim, when I saw that runner, I knew immediately it would be perfect with my black and white pumpkins! I did not paint the glasses, I can’t even remember where I got them, but they are cute aren’t they…The pumpkins really do look like the real thing and they were about 1/10 of the cost!
I love this playful post. Your poems always make me smile. That table runner from Amazon–so cute and what a steal! As always your playtime with the table is so much fun!
Thanks Linda, I swear, Amazon has everything!
So adorable Jenna! Love the cheery mix of polka dots with pumpkins and black and white check. I love the runner and scalloped placemats too. I so wish we had a Fresh Market nearby…*sigh*. Happy Friday!🧡
Thank you Mary, it’s not a Fresh Market, it’s a Piggly Wiggly and the gift section is dangerously tempting!
Great work! There is just something delightful about polka dots and fall decorating that makes my heart smile!
Polka Dots always bring cheerfulness!
That is a lovely table! I love all the patterns and colors of your pumpkins.
Thank you Joanne, I am crazy about pumpkins 🙂

So very cute Jenna. Love the knockoff pumpkins. polka dots and checks look fabulous together. You have quite the pumpkin collection. Love them! Your comment section looks different. It says leave a reply when I just want to leave a comment. One comment came out as anonymous on a different post.
Oh sorry, don’t know what’s going on there…thank you for trying. As for pumpkins, can you have too many, I don’t think so!
