Party Panache, Kicked Up Onion Dips and Giveaway Winner
Onion Dip is a classic choice for gatherings,
and I have several ways to take it from the expected dip
to “Wow, this dip is so good!”
It’s not hard to make it with ingredients you probably have on hand,
mayonnaise, sour cream, onions and bacon
The Wow factor in this version is the caramelized onions
After the onions are caramelized,
they are mixed with the mayonnaise, sour cream, and bacon
and seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder
If you want to make it a bit healthier~
Add kale and Swiss chard
Onion Dip with Kale & Swiss Chard
You don’t even have to caramelize the onions for this
Easy Peasy Cheesy Vidalia Onion Dip
Just mix diced onions with the grated cheeses,
add mayonnaise, Worcestershire, and garlic powder and bake
You can also use ready made onion dip from the store
and amp it up by adding caramelized onions and bacon
You can really kick this up by serving the dip
with roasted red potatoes instead of chips
Great football watching food!

I like the plan to start with a store bought dip then add extra carmelized onions, etc. . . I mean, if it’s football season, let’s get busy and watch the game. Congratulations to Judee – I hope you like the book and love your hometown as much as I love mine!
