Party Panache, Summer Ladies Luncheon
Summer has arrived with a bang in the South,
it is hot hot hot!
Let’s keep cool today
and have a fancy lunch inside
I have been enjoying the flower filled Painted Birdhouse
as a Summer centerpiece in the foyer
It is the perfect spot to enjoy a cool Summer luncheon…
Here is the menu of the goodies we are going to munch on!
This table is an indoor garden in full bloom
There are flowers literally all over the room!
Flowers on napkins
On glasses
And atop candlesticks
A bright happy setting with no politics!
A colorful Summer table and venue
Let’s talk about what’s on the menu!
Mimosa Muffins are mini sized bites
made with orange juice and champagne
Peach Palmer is a twist on the Arnold Palmer cocktail
It’s made with peach vodka and iced tea
You can substitute Simply Peach Juice for the vodka
for a non alcohol version
Romaine Spoons with Pear Compote are light and refreshing
BLT Skewers are like mini bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches
without the bread
Tropical Fruit Spears can be dressed up
with chopped macadamias and a drizzle of a sweet vinaigrette
Pimiento Cheese Cookies with Strawberry Jam
are a tasty sweet and savory version of cheese straws
To finish this fancy ladies luncheon,
how about Watermelon Mini Cupcakes
The cupcakes are a vibrant pink,
filled with chocolate chips mimicking watermelon seeds
and topped with green icing and sprinkles

Jenna, your table is just beautiful and perfect for a summer luncheon. It has been hot here as well with heat indexes of 107. However, today is delightful. We had a little cool down this morning. It was just in time because we were hosting a family cookout. Your menu sounds most scrumptious! Happy Summer!
