Take-out Tuesday, Asian Sweet Chili Brussels Sprouts

We had a wonderful time at the beach last week

It was Spring Break for the kids and we had delightful weather

On Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt

They loved it!

Super Teen was busy spear fishing, his new passion!

He speared this Black Drum and several large flounder

swimming in the water near our pier

HHjr cooked up a storm all week

and one of the side dishes we really enjoyed was

Asian Sweet Chili Brussels Sprouts

Toss trimmed Brussels Sprouts with olive oil, salt and pepper

Roast in the oven at 425 degrees until soft and a little charred

When the sprouts are done, brush them with

Sweet Chili sauce mixed with a dash of soy sauce

Return to oven for 5 minutes then serve

Even my non vegetable eating son in law loved these~

So simple and something a little different!

Jenna what a wonderful beach visit for you and your family. HHjr comes up with such good recipes and I have made several and am adding this new way of cooking one of my favorites, Brussels sprouts. Spear fishing is just too fun and exciting and the black drum is nice sized. Good job! Have a great and wonderful week my friend.
