Recipe Box, 1 Recipe 4 Different Ways

This is a recipe that can be used as an appetizer or a side dish~

It only has 3 ingredients

AND

you can change the ingredients to make a different combo!

I made it with roasted Brussels Sprouts, blue cheese and bacon

For an appetizer serve it on a small skewer, like a mini kebab,

and you will have delightful bites

Or, serve it as a side dish

it would be wonderful with steak or chicken

If you don’t like Brussels sprouts, make it with roasted broccoli

You can roast it plain or with Parmesan and then skewer it with bacon

or skewer it with bacon and a piece of cheddar cheese

or serve it as a side dish

To make it with Brussels Sprouts,

first trim the sprouts and cut them in half

Put them on a parchment lined pan, drizzle with olive oil

and season with salt and pepper

Roast the sprouts in a 400 degree F oven for about 25 minutes

or until they are done and begin to char

Transfer the roasted sprouts to a casserole dish

Add cheese

Cover the dish and put the dish back in the oven

for several minutes to melt the cheese

Add bacon and stir

Put it on skewers for appetizers,

or provide skewers and let people skewer their own

OR

serve it with a large spoon for a side dish

Use this same method if you want to make it with broccoli and cheddar

Cut the broccoli into small florets and roast them

with olive oil, salt and pepper just like the Brussels sprouts

Skewer the roasted broccoli with bacon and a small piece of cheddar

OR

Put the broccoli in a dish with grated cheddar,

return to oven to melt the cheese then add bacon and stir

Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Bleu Cheese

This easy recipe can be served on little skewers for an appetizer or serve as a side dish. You can make it with roasted broccoli and cheddar instead of Brussels Sprouts and blue cheese. Easy to make and a very tasty bite!
