Turn a lantern into a Centerpiece
There is no rule that a flower arrangement
must be the main focus of your tablescape…
Try mixing things up with something unexpected!

Have some Hot Pink Fun in the Summertime!

This is one of my favorite lanterns
It’s very simple and lends itself to just about anything
Here it is full of different textured balls
You can pair it with a seasonal touch~
Now some of the textured balls have been swapped out
with glass balls wrapped in twine {fish floats]
and starfish ornaments
If you look closely you will see a flamingo
🦩
and a mermaid
🧜♀️
Add a string of battery operated mini lights
for a little night time sparkle
This time it is filled with various glass pieces,
blue & green bottles, balls and a jar
A Sparkling Sea of Tranquility
Here is a slightly different lantern dedicated to fishing
Now it’s full of carrots for Spring and Easter
And lanterns are perfect for any holiday decor
St. Patrick’s Day Lucky Lantern
Valentine’s Day Love Lantern
If you don’t have a lantern, you can use a large glass vase
Have fun creating your own eye catching centerpiece!

Thanks so much Nancy!
I love how you took one simple piece and made it into so many lovely table decorations. The two different kinds of light are lovely additions, and the Mardi Gras one is a standout.
Thank you Linda!
This is timely. I brought my red lantern to the lake for holiday decorating! Now I have more ideas than I can handle!
Oh good Jeanie, have fun!

What a delightful post about the colorful rose! 🌹 I absolutely love how you captured the essence of creativity and color in your art. Your approach to using vibrant hues not only breathes life into each piece but also encourages others to express their own individuality through painting.
