The bacon and sautéed apple has to give a nice taste and texture to the pumpkin soup.

Jenna, this looks so delicious. I love the taste of pumpkin and who doesn’t like a topping of bacon and apple!? It would make a perfect Sunday night supper!

  4. I love making soup but haven’t tried anything like this with pumpkin and the good thing is, I think my family would like it! – Now, if we could just get some cold weather to go with it!

It’s raining outside in OK today with a little hail thrown in. This soup sounds like the perfect comfort food for this season.

  6. Oh, Jenna, thank you for this. I love pumpkin soup but never thought of adding the apples or the bacon. What a terrific depth of flavor that would be! I’ll definitely be making this and soon!

  7. Nancy says:

The texture from the bacon and apples are what I would enjoy in this soup. A great fall soup. Thank you!

  8. So simple, and I bet the bacon, maple and apple adds depth of flavor! I’ll try this with a fresh pumpkin I have.

  9. Mary says:

Sounds so tasty Jenna! I have a similar recipe that uses butternut squash with apples instead of pumpkin. Everything is better with bacon! ♥
