Wonderful autumnal flavour and so warming too!
Thank you Angie 🙂
The bacon and sautéed apple has to give a nice taste and texture to the pumpkin soup.
Thank you Karen 🙂
Jenna, this looks so delicious. I love the taste of pumpkin and who doesn’t like a topping of bacon and apple!? It would make a perfect Sunday night supper!
Thanks Pam, have a great week!
Yes!
A seasonal delight!
I love making soup but haven’t tried anything like this with pumpkin and the good thing is, I think my family would like it! – Now, if we could just get some cold weather to go with it!
So simple but very tasty!
It’s raining outside in OK today with a little hail thrown in. This soup sounds like the perfect comfort food for this season.
There’s nothing better than a bowl of soup n a rainy day!
Oh, Jenna, thank you for this. I love pumpkin soup but never thought of adding the apples or the bacon. What a terrific depth of flavor that would be! I’ll definitely be making this and soon!
Thanks Jeanie, enjoy!
The texture from the bacon and apples are what I would enjoy in this soup. A great fall soup. Thank you!
Thanks Nancy, easy to make too!!
So simple, and I bet the bacon, maple and apple adds depth of flavor! I’ll try this with a fresh pumpkin I have.
Thanks Deb, I hope you enjoy!
Sounds so tasty Jenna! I have a similar recipe that uses butternut squash with apples instead of pumpkin. Everything is better with bacon! ♥
That sounds good, I love butternut squash!
