Home Decor, Summer Centerpieces

With Memorial Day coming up and June just around the corner,

Let’s kick off the summer season with a roundup of centerpiece ideas

One of the best parts of summer is the produce

Beautiful tomatoes, watermelons, fresh sweet corn…

Piled on a pretty platter, they make an instant centerpiece!

Summer means lots of patriotic holidays in the USA

Create a festive centerpiece with a vase of white daisies,

red carnations and flags

Flip Flops, Firecrackers & Flags

Or, Fill a clear vase or glass with a red, white and blue bandana

Add red white and blue sprays of stars and flags

Even if you aren’t an artist you can paint a flag plate

with red stripes, a patch of blue, and white dots for stars

{use paint made for glass for best results}

    Oh Jenna!!!! I love all your centerpieces. You are so talented and I always enjoy seeing and getting ideas from your painted glasses and plates and trays! It is hard to believe that we are already at the start of summer (that begins in the South with Memorial Day to me). Seems like we missed so much of the Spring because of COVID. Although my work was considered essential and I haven’t missed a day, all I did was get up, come to work, go back home; planned grocery trips when stores were not so crowded, etc; and with all the rain and fluctuating temps, nothing feels like it has developed as normal. But thankful that we and all loved ones are well thus far and continued prayers for this situation.

    Miss Ellie sends her love to her MC sisters. She is a trooper, carrying all my court stuff everyday!! She is excited that she will be hearing from her sisters in the coming days!

    Love from Northeast MS.

    • You are too sweet Rhonda, and it’s so great to hear from you!! I have been curious as to how the courts and legal system was working…I have truly been a beach bum, no shoes or make up, I feel like a hippie! Yes, summer arrives Memorial Day in the South, and on the coast people are so happy to have the beaches reopen. I am so glad you are using and enjoying Miss Ellie, such a great tote! Yes, the June 1 tales ought to be interesting…Thanks for following along, and happy summer!

    So many unique ideas for a centerpiece. Love them all but I really do like the sailboat! All those gorgeous fresh vegetables. I always look forward to piling them high on a platter for the island during summer. The supermarkets have been having sales on sweet corn. Love the cake with the pineapple top. Perfect for summer………..
