Thinking Spring!

After spending much of January curled up
with an electric blanket,
I am dreaming of Spring!

Valentine’s Day, Mardis Gras, St. Patrick’s Day, …
the early Spring holidays are nice and spread out this year
so we will have plenty of time to enjoy each one of them!

Here are some inspirations for decorating,
crafting and cooking for these upcoming holidays
Put a Valentine card inside a picture frame
for instant Valentine decor

Fill a pretty mug or tea cup with Valentine goodies
for a Galentine gift

Glue wine corks together in a heart shape,
add paint and bling

Cover a foam cone with pink and red candies
to make a sweet Valentine tree

Fat Tuesday falls on March 1 this year,
it is the last day of Mardi Gras celebrations
before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent
Get festive with a green, gold and purple table 👑

Make a Praline Party Mix to munch on

New Orleans is famous for it’s Mardi Gras celebrations
and Bourbon Street is party central
Celebrate at home by cooking with a little bourbon 🎉

Love those happy and vibrant colours…well, it’s already Feb. so the spring is right at the corner if we wait patiently :-))
I’m trying! I’m weary of cold temps!
I should do that wine cork thing. If there is ANYTHING I have an abundance of, it’s wine corks!
Yes you definitely should!
What a refreshing post of fun and pretty inspiration Jenna. I’m loving the wine cork idea, I have plenty of those………..Happy February!
Thank you Emily, I’m hoping this is the last bout of cold weather 🥶

Thanks Lynn!
With 6 inches of snow outside covering a thick layer of ice, my thoughts really hadn’t turned to spring. This is a fun post. I realize EVERYONE is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, but my husband really can trace his roots back to the old country so we try to do something special on that day. I’ll draw inspiration from your post.
Oh Linda, I hope you can stay safe and warm! I am not a fan of winter, so trying to lift my spirits thinking about the upcoming holidays! St. Patrick’s Day is my granddaughter’s birthday so it’s a special day for us too ☘️
SPRING is on it’s way and look at ALL these Vibrant and Fun Ideas! Thank you!
