Party Panache, Gearing Up for Football and New Years Fun

I hope you have been enjoying a very Merry December!

We gathered at my daughter’s house for

our annual Christmas Eve party with extended family

It was a day filled with JOY

Laughter,

and Cookies!

Christmas Day we had presents and our family dinner at my house~

HHjr and I gave ourselves a present and didn’t cook,

we ordered a ham dinner from a local restaurant 😊

Now we’re starting to gear up for a weekend of football,

New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

“Bubbly”

Football is always a big focus around here,

and with so many great bowl games coming up

we’re going to need good football watching food!

Club Sub Spirals are made with a giant baked submarine sandwich

It’s layered with tasty deli meats and cheese,

You can use up what you have in your refrigerator

Leftover ham, turkey, deli meat, bacon,

cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese,

onions, peppers, jalapenos, anything goes!

Easy Peasy Cheesy Vidalia Onion Dip is full of sweet onions

paired with savory white cheeses, Worcestershire sauce,

mayonnaise and garlic for a delightful party dip

It smells wonderful and tastes like heaven!

Amazing Stuffed Celery can be made a few days ahead

Put it in a plastic container and store it in the refrigerator

It’s ready whenever you need it

Asparagus Parmesan Aioli Fries are fun and different

They can be served warm or at room temperature

so they’re great for appetizer buffets

Italian Party Bread is a bundt cake made with biscuit pieces

It has all the flavors of an Italian meal

Small pieces are pulled off and dunked

into warm marinara sauce for a tasty appetizer bite

Spinach & Artichoke Stuffed Bread is party pretty

without being labor intensive

Creamed spinach and canned artichoke hearts

are mixed with Parmesan and white cheddar

with dry ranch dressing mix for seasoning

Ranch Monkey Muffins are made with refrigerated biscuit dough pieces,

Ranch seasoning, bacon and cheese

They’re baked in a muffin tin but you could also make them smaller

using mini muffin pan for a grab and go bite

Brown Sugar Bacon Tenders are great for football watching!

After cooking, cut the tenders into smaller pieces

and serve them with toothpicks or cocktail forks

I like to serve unusual pizzas or flatbreads for game watching

Cheesy Herb Mushroom Bread preps and cooks in less than 15 minutes

Instead of making a charcuterie board, make charcuterie in a jar~

Jacuterie!
